About the earbuds, they are not good enough for a high-end device but I use poweramp and that player sounds a lot better than the stock one so I manage to get decent sound from them (mine came with 3 sets of plugs) but my Sennheiser 300 II is indeed in a different league Samsung has something to learn here.
Only time I have experienced the red square in Macro focus is when I am too close to the object

@rikken
Thanks for the TubeMate suggestion! I've found it to be great overall, and the only youtube player for android that will actually play 1280x720 videos in their best possible quality (this is quite strange to me)
Compare a HQ video on the default Youtube app, quality isn't that good. Then try it on the youtube player in the browser and the quality is slightly better. But as you can select what quality you want to view the video in with TubeMate, you can really enjoy full HD youtube videos that are a lot better quality! THANKS
@norbi
Senheisser CX500 is all I can say... truly great (even better if you love bass)

From past experience Samsung always made cracking sounding music players but the GS2 sound is average whatever headphones or music player used imo

Im quite suprised how much I like the design of this phone.Its so light and thin and feels perfect in hand.Having a white one is also a nice change for me.

OK checking out some tutorials on gaining root.I have to re-learn all over again.I could root and change ROMs on my X10 with my eyes closed.
ODIN,Kies,XWKDD_insecure.tar,download mode ect ect
Different software,different terminology.Different everything.
I remember the first time I tinkered with my X10.I feel exactly the same way now.Slightly nervous.I know though once I've done it a couple of times and get used to all the different software and files that are needed I'll once again do it with my eyes closed.
Not in a rush at this stage because Im pretty happy with the phone as is but its always nice to have the option when needed.

rooting isn't hard...and now, you can use mobile odin without having to go near a pc...flash away. i flashed 2.3.6. yesterday, just for fun then flashed back using mobile odin. look to xda forums and educate yourself. there's alot of shit, but it's also a bible for the gs2 and general android learning. i'm there everyday for about two hours, learning, reading, more learning. lol. i'll be happy to help as much as i can. |
