So envious you got more in your box than me.

File manager - I couldn't find one on mine but found a free one called Astro on market. Seems to works quite well.

just some question x10 owners.. in order to unlock the screen, we have to swipe the screen from left going up right. The problem is it changes from right going up left on my x10 which is for righthanded.. how to put it back for lefthanded? thanks.

@glorfingal

I've been meaning to ask did you fit the sides of your InvisibeShield?

Did you find that the cut for the camera button was mirrored?
ie. the opening the volume buttons was cut out from the lefthand side of the film yet the camera button was cut out to the right.

Has anybody tried any of the other screen protectors out there? I think the thinner the better in this case, esp if your going to instal over the pre-installed one-FYI which is what I have done and will be doing in future!

Seperate to above...

I can't connect to wifi, I have O2 broadband in the UK which comes with their O2 box ii.
This is very frustrating!
Signal is rubbish too, I'm with Orange - onoly because their the only company issuing the white x10.

Hi guys, first post

So I've had my Xperia x10 for alittle under 24 hours now, and has managed to acquire a fairly deep scratch within my pocket. Tried some scratch removal solutions, but I think the scratch is too deep and is extremely visible as light refracts when passing over it. Is there a way to physically replace the screen? Some other mobiles have the option to import screen replacement, but I believe they're alot older than the xperia.

@end0rphine Ouch, thats a real shame, do you hve anything like Orange Care or the equivalent with your contract? Might be worth a try.. I'd imagine that any other way will probably cost you more than their usual £15 excess and involve some fairly tricky diy on your part..

To the rest of you still trying to protect your pride and joy, Goldenface has posted a link about a liquid application in the cases and protection thread..

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=195581&start=30

However all of your posts just make me think that the best way is to invest in a decent, and suitably attractive case, like the noreve I linked to earlier and that Mobile fun have for less than the cost direct? Especially for fat fingered oafs like me to whom the idea of applying a screen protector or the like is something that just fills me with dread. I know there's be more air-bubbles on the screen than there are pixels at the mo.

That way you get the best of both worlds, when she's in your pocket she's protected, but in full use she's in all of her glory but still benefiting from a factory-fittted protector... No loss of sensitivity on the screen and hopefully no damage to her either? But that's just me..

I know what you mean about being sausage fingered. I don't think there is any substitute for a factory fitted protector - I don't have much luck with applying protectors either.

I suppose the spray on protection would be the next best thing and that, used with a suitable pouch would provide a good deal of protection.

Alternatively, it might be easier to apply protection to the tip of your forefinger to stop that becoming greasy.
