Guys there are a lot of people out there who don't look for great features... they just want a decent looking phone that doesn't cost much... this would be an ideal one for them. i can forsee a market for this phone in india. meanwhile, i'll wait it out for the X1 or the P5i!

I wouldn't really consider K850i or the W580i crap though. They're not as good as other offerings in Europe, but nonetheless they're pretty good phones.

they will have an american version of the phone...

i agree i wouldn't buy it either... i would NEVER buy a phone that will be offered in Canada (just because I want to be sepcial =P) and most certainly won't purchase a low ender. but there is demand for low-ender phones, people want cheap quality products and I think the T303 is the answer to that.

I think we should ask a different question whether this is A100 or A200 because I think neither of the two. I this phone and its software is made by Sagem for SE.

I don't know which platform Sagem using ...i mean for the chip but the recent FCC release of document for W380 shows that phone is using NXP chip. So if it is ODM phone. In a way It proof your point but I believe even if it is A100...you still can made the UI look like what they currently have on A200 since the centre "menu" command is just to tell you to press the centre key.

as far as I know Arima is using Ericsson platform.

Sagem, Chi mei and Compal the other two ODM maker for SE as we know....aren't sure using what chip and platform

Sagem is using the ericsson platform, so they'll probably use the chipset.
Sagem has acces to 3 or 4 platforms, incl the 2 latest ones that SE uses aswell.

so i wouldn't be surprized that some SE users here might find that Sagem's high end phones are quite alike, maby better on some points.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Even the silver one looks much better than in the spypics. But hey at least we were able to see them...

I have a feeling that buldge is for SIM Card and memo card (if present). The battery would most likely use up the top part of the back.

Aiyo.....they show a phone with SE123 at CEBIT.

Totally no respect to CEBIT now for SE.

R306 picture show this phone got a back button. c button and answer and reject call

so whatever chipset platform used....the UI can be adjusted

but i doubt the high end product UI can be put into chipset for low and mid range.

again I see SE123.

Really pity CEBIT since it use to be the very event every phone maker used to announce their whole yr product portfolio....now it seem to be not given attention or respect.

I think this device makes for a great low end handset. It looks brilliant live (see the video on USEB). Which begs the question: why dont SE put in as much effort for the aesthetics of their higher end phones? They tend to make their high end products look and feel very monotone. That said, it does sometimes look very good (eg the W960 looks flawless live, in my opinion).

I don't see a back button on the R306...

The button below the green call key looks like the shortcuts key. Look at the W890 Screenshot. Notice the arrows are pointing in the same direction with exactly same shape.
