It looks like they always rewrite the firmware. I'm saying this because some bugs in new phone are things that were working fine before.
So I think they are not reusing their code. And their testing is really poor. Some bugs are just not acceptable. |

it appears that they have updated the browser in R1AA008- my operator's WAP site used to display incorrectly, with text spilling all over the place, but when i reflashed to R1AA008 it's all nice and clean.
can someone confirm if this is the same browser they had in the W550? the netfront one? |

and yeah, does the K600/K608's R2T002 have the same browser version? |

@bong:
No way they are rewritting the firmware for every release! It's impossible and un-doable; would take starting over again every time, every function again? It's nonsense.
This mess up with later versions because some code is "changed", so, altering a function may screw up the functioning in some other part of the firmware. |

For what it's worth
Just noticed SE have updated the SEUS II client, mine downloaded some files and updated to 2.2.12.2.
I haven't checked for upgraded firmware though, need my phone now.

When you update your FW some bugs are fixed, but with every new FW release there are more and more bugs, so why you continue upgrading ? |

I wouldn't say there are more bugs, there are different bugs.
And eventually they get it right (-ish

I have R1A008 since it went out with SEUS II, and I haven`t had any problem with the phone.
I post this for the high number of post saying that their phone is worse than before update it.
I`m sure that many others are happy with the new fw, like me.

@gareb
You are holding down the "c" on your phone, right?
Have you checked that you have the right (latest) version of macromedia flash?
Does your pc comply with the minimum system spec's?
Are you getting some sort of error-screen? Have you experienced cable connection problems before (dirty contacts on phone and cable)?
