I wonder if you guys can help me out here, 'cause I'm kinda confused why I've had this somewhat minor but annoying bug in my K850i ever since I had my phone.
Whenever I choose a theme that doesn't have a customized Media Player, every time I select the "Photo" option, the color of the aura on the right side of the screen turns blue, while all the other options remain white. However, you don't notice when the phone theme already has the Media Player aura color to be blue already. I tried master resetting a couple of times, but it doesn't fix anything. Updating to the latest firmware (R1EA031) didn't fix it, either.
Is it just me, or am I the only one getting this kind of bug in the Media Player? And do any of you guys know how I could fix it? Thanks for any input! |

Yeah you're right. I think it's part of the media player bug. This is time it makes the background of the main menu disappear..
And Doohan: This is different. It makes the background turn black, it is a bug.

Ive tried all themes on my phone even some of the ones I've downloaded and modified.. My colour is still there and bubbles appear after a few seconds. I might not be reading this correctly if so... let me know.

I mostly use my K850 as a PMPlayer so I want the video to play smoother. Origional phone came with O2 - 029 and 3gp movie playback was amazing (Converted from Divx using WINavi). Upgraded to 038 and it was not as good, still very watchable but lip sync was noticable on some movies. Would hate it if this new firmware degraded the quailty somemore. Been waiting and checking in with this forum since new year and know I'll not be able to resist upgrade, so here goes. |

use this which is the closer combination of this what you can see and what is in 'scenes' menu. observe light amount and if you think it's not enough then use 'twilight' scenes. this is only 20% of good photo. rest 80% is inside your head and it's called 'idea for good photo' i wish you many great shots
BTW. try to keep rule of composition as much as you can. don't use it if you have good reason

Sorry mate but I don't understand what you're saying.
As far as I'm concerned I'm using the right settings for different types of pics but if someone posts a pic, then tells me what settings they used for it, then I'll take a similar pic with the same settings.
I took one on my dinner but can't post it yet as can't upload it till I get home. |

Here is a new LINK Juest set it up ... and go to Media and just rotate the phone ... |

Ok, make sure the media player is on auto and you are using a theme which changes the media player (imperial black walkman from eseth would do nicely). Then press media whilst holding your phone normally. (portrait) Now tilt your phone to landscape, does the background go black?

Okay now... i just noticed the green background just disappears and reverts back to the Java (black n White) theme. that's what i was seeing. Yes... it could be a bug. Do you reckon it's something they have added in the firmware that has created that. Maybe a new version of theme Creator will have a feature that does away with that problem. I can see how annoying it would be for people who have created there own themes only for there fav backgrounds to dissapear while listening to the tracks.
Good observation it something i probably would of overlooked...

Darn, after update mine became so so slow... even installing a different theme takes a life time...
Tried master reset.. nadaaa...
