ops my mistake on K618....but it makes me more doubtful now
I thought the first A200 phone is z750? oh nevermind since I made a mistake
AFAIK, the K850i is the first A200 phone
nop
W910, K850, Z750
at the same line
they are introduced to us at 14 June 2007 if you remember
all of them use the A200 Platform
Nope Z750 is first. It was announced in March 2007 with the W580, whereas W910 and K850 announced in June.
From GSMARENA:
The second new mobile is the Sony Ericsson Z750 clamshell. It follows the high-gloss design line of the fashionable 3G-enabled Sony Ericsson Z610. The Sony Ericsson Z750 is the first HSDPA-enabled mobile of the manufacturer and additionally has quad-band GSM/EDGE network support. Other than that the Sony Ericsson Z750 boasts the same hardware characteristics as the Z610 - such as a 2 megapixel camera and a secondary VGA video calls camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, and a Memory Stick Micro M2 memory card slot (128MB card included). New features include a FM radio and an enhanced resolution of the 2.2" 262K TFT display plus the Z750 is the first phone based on Sony Ericsson’s Java Platform 8 (JP-8), supporting a range of new Java programming features. The Z750 comes with The Sony Ericsson Z750 will be available in Q3 2007

V630i is NOT an A200 phone. I had one and now my brother has it and I have a W910i (A200). I think you are all getting confused. V630i is just a branded K618i with call keys because Vodafone requires them.
V640i (note, not V630i) IS an A200 phone, and this was released well after Z750i, K850i and W910i. Perhaps you are confusing V630i and V640i.
The Z750i was the first A200 phone, though it does not seem to be available in many places, if any. You can tell that this leaked phone we've seen in the last few pages is A200 by the keys. That layout is typical A200, and before A200, no phones have had the same layout.

people it's not the green and red phone call/end buttons that will tell you if a phone is a200. Yes-new se a200 phone have these buttons-but so did vodafone branded k800, w850 AND YES-EVEN THE V630. I'ts the missing back arrow key that will tell you if a phone is a200. |

If that is the price $300 USD for a W890i, then that is a steal. |

finally more support on it...but I guess I still made a mistake since tht slider don't have a back arrow key. BUT still I rather wait and see because still make no sense for a low end product using A200. If they can change the button on A100 platform to suit vodafone. I am not surprise they can tweak A100 to come without the back button...especially if it is not a phone from SE but one ODM product from either Sagem/ Compal / Arima....as far as I know, some ODM product isn't using Ericsson platform which SE based on.
so lets wait for more leak...and I rahter stop my arguement here since the focus on new phone still going to be P5 and those other new names that showed last week. |
