I tried what you said but my background doesn't disappear.
I noticed something else: If you are playing music and then turn the phone to landscape when in the auto rotate mode, the theme stays normal, but when you press back, theme messes up. |

Seems like this update doesn't fix the podcast client - it still will only try to download to phone memory, and since the phone memory is only 40 MB nothing will fit in it and it will fail to download. I was hoping the update would make it download to the memory stick |

@1889...hhhhmmmmmm.....are you kidding...its a cell phone...NOT EVEN N82 looks better when you zoom in like that....k850 have easily best details, (Nokia have more vivid colors, but NOT better details).
so STOP think that some cell phone will look perfect when you zoom in ten times (or something).
@Plank,
As you (I'm sure) know, these photo comparisons are not zoomed in at all. Not one bit. Not even 1%. These shots are 100% pixel for pixel, actual size, not-zoomed-in crops from a K850i (old and new firmware). They were cropped and then saved at JPEG quality setting 100 to minimise any further distortion.
Please do not try to claim that I am making the crap quality look worse by magnifying the photos. The camera is quite capable of producing rubbish all on its own.

Did the web browser ever auto rotate or not?? I cant remember. It allows to change to landscape in options > view but not auto rotate.

Maustroni, you should probably reflash your phone back to 037 using divinci and then upgrade it to backup to the latest with SEUS. I had a similar problem like you a couple of months ago... just a suggestion
I know, thanx for the tip but i'm not going to pay for a simple HSPDA-only option (although i could use it.) Maybe i'll try a full flash at SE service point, maybe i'll just hold on to this one till next version.
And about the HSDPA: Why would you want to lock the phone on HSDPA only? That's the same when you want to lock your phone on EDGE-only, not using GPRS if that one is available only. HSDPA is just an improvement over UMTS. 3G setting should be UMTS/HSDPA, not one of two. It's very confusing. Has anyone already discovered the differences between GSM/3G and HSDPA in Mobile Networks >GSM/3G menu?

Nope the web browser never had an auto rotate option but did always allow you to switch to landscape. |

If you want to encode video with audio/video in sync you should try a program called Super from http://www.erightsoft.com/home.html
It creates great quality video from almost any source.
You can also download predefined profiles for the k850i phone from this site: http://superprofiles.blogspot.com/ . Just import the k850i profile into Super an hit the encode button.

Can't you change it under Messaging -> Settings -> General -> Save to? I thought that changed the location for all messages, including RSS. |
