Yes,I need to break mine in first. White version of GS2 in US out. The design of the US one is nicer actually.

Getting about a day out of a smart phone is pretty standard and with heavy use I'd say its normal for it to die at some point in the evening... I struggle with my BB Bold 9900... Just put it on charge as it has gone onto the red and it came off the charger at about 8am... The thing that gets me though is the fact that I dont actually use it half as much as my old Desire and my new G-Nexus for that matter... Used to be BB's strong point too...

A hell of a lot of the battery issues people experience with Android is due to rogue apps...

I make a point of only having 225 apps installed. More than that and it gets silly.

iOS ones, I'm hanging around in the wrong thread really, sorry

To be fair these were all collected over three years of iPhone ownership, some haven't been out of the box for a while..

It's nice to have all that internal storage on the GS2 and don't have to move anything to SD card. The GS2 has such healthy memory for RAM & storage!! Makes all the difference cos when I had the HTC Desire and Sony Ericsson Neo the internal memory was so low the phone would slow down.

I asked this earlier on and got no response but I will give it go again. Is the 16gb internal enough for you and have any of you considered adding the 64GB Sandisk MicroSD now that it is known to work in most Androids. I know it is a lot but I currently use a 16GB SD card and I find it is too little for me.

Cheers

Sorry I must have not noticed your post. Yes,16 gig is enough for internal memory although I have never seen the 32 gig model. I also have a 16 gig card inside mine but will sometime soon upgrade it to 32 gig. Not sure if the phone will take 64 gig cards or not.

On page 28 of this thread I posted a link to an article in which it was proven that the new Sandisk 64GB cards do work with the SGSII. Although it needs to be formatted first. Here is the link 64GB works in the SGSII.

The cards don't come cheap though but right now they can be had for £99 on Amazon.co.uk or US$200 at amazon.com in the US.

Not cheap (yet) but for those who might want more it is available.

Ok cool. That's good news. I may just get a 32 gig for now though. They used to say that on many phones. For instance I remember having the Nokia 6700 Classic & it said only cards upto 8 gig will work. But a 16 gig worked fine. I really think a phone like the GS2 should work with such cards considering how expensive it is.
