the phone isn't a joke...it's simply that you don't get it...it's a very good communicator with some flaws..regardless..its a good communicator..if you managed to draw a conclusion from "trying it" then ...thats says everything i need to know about your mentality...its not as if its a handset that the every day general public buy's is it..its aimed at buisness users...simple as...in that respect..it has sold well...and rightly so...same with the p9/10i...it isn't something the general public buy..hmmm...t630 or p9? yeah..i know ..i'll go for a p9 because i like wasting money and i can use it as a door wedge too...see what im saying?...spend time with something before you slate it... |

Really? I must have overlooked the touchscreen stylus interface, QWERTY keyboard, 64Mb internal memory and flash memory format that is not a complete joke (Reduced Size Dual Voltage MMC, anyone?!) to name but a few.

Since when did this thread shift into NOkia vs SE mode? I tot it was supposed to be about SE becoming worse... Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we supposed to list some things down that SE is doing/not doing that we consumers are not happy about?

IMHO, SE is getting worse in their mobile phone market..
1. Products are not well designed, take K600, S600 and W600 as examples. The S series r declined to Japan designs..Those SO series.
2. Announced new products in a not very systematic time intervals (Announced the S600, W600 after the K750 is being announced; Holding the W800 market which is no difference with K750). Lack of marketing strategies!
3. SE ignores the EDGE technology. I don't know why they always overlook EDGE which will not hurt by having it in their phones.
4. No news about the Smartphone series - PXXX... Dead?

1: K600 is not well designed? W600 ugly? maybe u should buy a Moto or a Nokia ... Cuz those phones are really well designed ..
2: If you look @ when SE is announcing phones .. it's april/june/september ... pretty systematic I belive.
K750 and S600 do not target same group of people. That and holding off W800 from the market is called ... guess what .. Marketing strategies!
3: Don't be ignorant, or maybe u missed it, but S/W600 got EDGE... K750 is not targeting a EDGE market, W600 is ...
4: September they say ... Who knows, maybe we get to se 2 smartphones...
Nokia got lots of smartphones but none that can match the P-series. There isn't really that much u can do with a Nokia smartphone that u can't do with a K750.

sorry...what was that..? there isn't really that much you can't do with a nokiasmartphone that you can't do with a k750i?...that must be the dumbest statement ever made...i own both the k750i and the 6630/6680 and the difference is pretty obvious...is the k750i 3G and edge? no....does it support real media or avi? no...can it download anything apart from java? no...is it stereo? no...and it isn't symbian based....so there's alot of no's there isn't it...as for the p9/10i...it doesn't do anything the 6630/80 doesn't do...and don't say pim management...both of the above handsets manage pim well...the p9/10i are great smartphones, without a doubt..i sell about 5 every month..but they are getting a little long in the tooth...

although i agree with you on some points you can't really compare the two, it's just like comparing 6230i and 6630, both are good quality phones from the same company but they aren't really the same are they? a lot of people don't have any extra programs or games on their phones because they own a ppc or palm and i would be very pleased if someone can tell me what would be the point in having a ppc and a smartphone together? imho k750i is currently the best thing you can get for a non smartphone while i just don't get any special feeling with s60 devices, again this is just me, but i can't work without a stylus and i always had a feeling that i'm in between of something, never had that feeling with my p900, and although i don't own a 6630 i did had a 6600 so that's my standing point.
anyway i was just a little shocked you mentioned that k750i doesn't have stereo, if i am not mistaken 6630 doesn't not have stereo speakers, while stereo sound through headphones was something that se always had. the screen is the same so i wouldn't go far with movie watching because imho a vga resolution is the lowest you can go....
i think that a ppc+ k750 combo (or any other phone (v3, 8800 etc) is the best thing you can get and p910 steps closely but i just don't have any feelings about s60, it just seems a little in between....

Ooh...quoting gone mad. Must be someone who doesn't know what he's doing...
@Jay...son
Is it the fact that you work in a CPW store (or maybe telesales...?) that means that you "know your stuff" and I don't know mine? Is it the fact that you're only response to my arguments is that you don't think they're important? Did the fact that you can't write in sentences cause you problems at school?
I love criticism - it's always good to challenge people.
I used to work for CPW, in stores, managed a couple, worked in Corporate Sales for a bit etc. Good company.
