SE getting worse ! |

IMHO, SE is getting worse in their mobile phone market..
1. Products are not well designed, take K600, S600 and W600 as examples. The S series r declined to Japan designs..Those SO series.
2. Announced new products in a not very systematic time intervals (Announced the S600, W600 after the K750 is being announced; Holding the W800 market which is no difference with K750). Lack of marketing strategies!
3. SE ignores the EDGE technology. I don't know why they always overlook EDGE which will not hurt by having it in their phones.
4. No news about the Smartphone series - PXXX... Dead? |

All it is is they are bringing out low end phones in order to boost market share. Its just a phase they're going through.  |

1: K600 is not well designed? W600 ugly? maybe u should buy a Moto or a Nokia ... Cuz those phones are really well designed ..
2: If you look @ when SE is announcing phones .. it's april/june/september ... pretty systematic I belive.
K750 and S600 do not target same group of people. That and holding off W800 from the market is called ... guess what .. Marketing strategies!
3: Don't be ignorant, or maybe u missed it, but S/W600 got EDGE... K750 is not targeting a EDGE market, W600 is ...
4: September they say ... Who knows, maybe we get to se 2 smartphones...
Nokia got lots of smartphones but none that can match the P-series. There isn't really that much u can do with a Nokia smartphone that u can't do with a K750. |

nokia's S60's are all the same ... with a diff. design & bugs !!!!!
SonyEricsson's are just great !!!!!!!! think of that..... even the best nokia high end phones are no match to the low-en dep. of SE !!!
( i mean by matterials & build quality ... & batt life cycle.... )
& samsung....just a stupid phones with the same system with diffrent design ... price.... & extremly slow.......... motorola .... NEEEEE
way to slow & a very bad UI which is very stupid....

SE is good. but there intro of new stuff OMG just afwull phones.
only the J210 is acceptable.
those others are just half finished products, even if they are targeted at the low/mid level market.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

Well personnally I wouldn't buy the J210, it's IMO the ugliest of all their announced phones!
The others are quite nice I think!

In my honest opinion sony ericsson are good but need to get much better. The hash of releasing a faulty k750i does not fill me with confidence, although apart from the bugs its a great wee phone with so many nice touches you forget then re discover them again. However their phone design needs to be improved, they must have a phone that they can market at the cute looking phone range. Something which wow's people like a v3, or a cute samsung d500, e800. By no means do i just want a replica of these other phones, i want a sony ericsson evolution of them. Also from now on sony should do more to check their phones before releasing them, another 2 weeks would be perfectly acceptable for a more hassle free time. And it may not be that sony are getting worse, but the competition are getting better. Samsung's phones have always looked good, and they now have bluetooth and other functions that they never did before. Nokia on the other hand, i am not a fan of the last 6 months and i don't forsee the next 6 months being any better for them. |

samsung phones are still terrible when compaired to brands like nokia, se or siemens.
design is personal so i can understand that some people like the new SE phones.
they do indicate some small clues to the next Pxxx like quadband and 256MB internal memory.
when looking at the new acc. i must say that the headset is the best designed one i've seen from SE. their new bt carkit on the other hand is very nice and finally a good competitor against nokia's bt carkit.

I think liking designs is a matter of taste. SE does want to move up in its market share and I don't think replacing Siemens at no4 or 5 is the answer. To be a big manufacturer you need to cover more categories. SE so far has been doing pretty well with most of its line up being in the higher end but it does need to look the lower end market too. I think the main reason of dissapointment is because of all the high end phones that were rumored and didn't get presented. A fact is just because they didn't get presenteddoesn't mean their canceled, its just that we'll have to wait a little more to know what they are. It seems SE likes to keep their announcements somewhat catagorised although they don't strictly keep it that way. SE also has never announced a smartphone this early in the year, I'm not saying I totaly agree but then its not our company nor our necks out there so I think they know what they're doing. And S600 has EDGE, I can't gurantee every phone yet to be announced from SE will have it but it seems phone are most likely to have either triband+EDGE, triband+3G or quadband. SE is improving I think its just we don't think SE is improving fast enough. |

Eh I like the new releases, s4 pretty much replied to everything rightly though.
It's funny how for the most everyone sees the japanese designed SE phones and goes nuts over what they have. They try to introduce those features in their non Japense phones and people start crying and whining.
The only thing I really REALLY want in a phone now is an LCD remote like on cd players etc, if that came out for the W800 then i'd be totally happy.
Its fine to hate the phones because the design doesn't appeal, but imo you have to like the fact that at least they keep adding tech that will appear in future release phones. Quad Band, Stereo Speakers, EDGE, etc. (Before anyone jumps on that i'm not saying they invented it either, just they finally started incorporating it into their handsets  ) |

okay... i wanst gonna say anything becuase its not such a big deal but...
there is something that bugs me about SE... just little things. like i hate how i cant see the time of the call unless it is the same day. motorola can do it. (i dont knwo about nokia, becuase i dont use them) and seeing the time on the sent messages... just little things liek that bug me.
