Completely agree with you.
If you look hard enough for something you'll find it. If you want to find conspiracy and hidden agenda, imaginative brains can come up with anything! Sometimes it really is best to take things at face value... what you see is what you get. Hey, by their standards perhaps even this board is a conspiracy to make us all talk about stuff which can be read by authorities and analysed... hey... we are all pschological experiments... seeing how people interact on the internet!! Nice tune. People like you still believe Bush went into Iraq to save us - just because the authorities told it. Why ask? Why spend a single thought? Itīs the authority, they must be right!
But nevertheless this isnīt about adresses or protection - MEND would work perfectly if only stolen items were entered into.
Itīs your health insurance card, your credit card, your EC-Card, your Payback-or-other-benefit system, your movement-profile built and saved by phone company as long as your mobile is on, your next perfect movement profile of traffic and surveillance cams, yes, your internet visit & buy profile attached to your IP - all these information together build a better image of you than you can imagine yourself. Nothing will get lost - everythingīs save(d).
And any information is accessible for a bit money.
This isnīt about conspiracy. Thatīs always the same comfortable argument for people not willing to reflect. Why should asking questions be conspirative? Why is trying to make people think wrong?

Lets say this much. As to the point that my details are at my insurers, the retailers etc - I knew that but didn't think to address that point in my post for fear of making my post super long.
But the point of that is your details, and at most times only part of the entire picture, are kept on separate databases not on one super database.
As to the notion that "only people with something to hide need worry" and "it's done to protect us" and "they are only after the bad guys". Well, let me tell you that every totalitarian state has used those arguments. The United Kingdom is becoming more and more a police state thanks to the last few Home Secretaries ( Micheal Howard, and the one before him whose name escapes me, Jack Straw, and David Blunkett). If you look at the legislation brought in over the last say 10 years you and read the small print you will see what I mean.
Unfortunately, too many people have this "I am not that sort" attitude until they are erroneously indentified as "that sort" and the authorities use their excessive powers (powers that went unchallenged by the people now wrongly hounded because they thought "only that sort need to worry") go after them.
I shall not go into great depth re the stuff I have seen etc but just take a look at the latest development regarding trial by jury in this country. All stuff you can go read about as its in the public domain. The developments are outrageous in my humble opinion. And if they were to be used by say Robert Mugabe I am sure a lot of people would be mouthing off "shock horror, isn't it terrible, what a disgrace". Well you don't have to look at a developing nation just look in our own back yard.
As to me suggesting that MEND are a dodgy company. Well, that wasn't my intention.
And may I sign off by saying I used to be one of them Daily Mail types e.g. "only the bad guys need worry" "they are not after me" "they are only trying to protect us" "I am not one of them"
Anyway, for folks like me and Fetzi I have already given the formula for how to use the MEND service.

Yet another totally pointless and confusing post. You dont make any salient points at all! Just name drop a few politicians who have precisely NOTHING to do with this topic and expect us to feel enlightened! I would actually go as far as to call that post nothing but random waffle.
