I am looking forward to the next P series, i am hoping for a slim, ergonomic phone with larger touch screen, minimum 1.3 cam, Wi Fi, nice big internal memory, 1gig Duo compat, adjustable intensity screen light, timed press jog (IE as P910 but different menus can be accessed with one, two or three fast ckicks, vastly increasing jogdials usefullness),
i will not buy it if its 3G, 3G was finished before it started in my book its a silly commercial standard that will be quickly overtaken,
i do want built in GPS but i think thats asking too much .
I also want a worldwide standard for incorporating a "whats my blood group" button( Failing this an Epitaph recaller) & i want the phone security DNA matched to me.

Can't wait til they get the glitches out of the P910i. I may as well have a yard brush for the use this thing is at present. (See P910i Touch Screen Locked Out). |

That is 5band, that is quadband with 3g. Afaik, only moto posses technology to make quadband phones. (Correct me if i am wrong.) :-)

I am desperately waiting for a upgrade for my k700i, I have decided to go for 6630 as p910 is the phone which I cant afford right now  I need your suggestions...should I wait for this new Pxxx series or should I buy a 6630 and later on can sell it for p910 or this new P series

Hey pals, 3G is obsolete. 4G is at the doorstep and edge is available as an option with gsm for hi speed data. I think spending for 3G aint worth it. Wi fi may still be a worthwhile option. A Pxxx without 3G does not really bother me as long as edge is available

Very interesting indeed. The P1000 is listed in the list of handsets available, use the drop down menus and you should find it. Thank you for posting this information.

I thought the camera would have been 1.3 MP at least, although the description on that website does say that the exact specifications are not available yet; it is entirely possible that the camera will feature a higher resolution.

Apparently the P1000 is available for £52.99 here. Either the P1000 is not going to have quite as many features as we hoped for or this is a mistake.

SEMC "P1000" ??
Many asking "where are the more advanced 3G-devices'' such as "the follow up" to the SE P910. But saw in a Swed Magazine that MOTOROLA's A1000 soon will availabe on the Swed Market, UNLOCKED (today it's only available for "3"/locked to them)
Anyone of you, who can share some experiences re. the A1000, UNLOCKED??
I've been using SE P900 but recently made the misstake in bying SE Z1010.
Pretty tricky for me when used with "all the extras" a Smartphones offers../Tnx Matt

I think he means P910? because P800 was 1st generation, 2nd was P900, now 3rd generation P910? or am i wrong. Every1 saying P1000 will be out this year but no 1 knows anything about it, design or specification. I am looking forward to it, I bet it will be popular like P900 and new interesting technologies. Eldar from M-R.com said it will be best smartphone. Some people say it will be 3G, others not, well afew saying it will have landscape screen and wi fi etc, very confusing. I spoke SE rep in london, he told me SE will bring out 2 smartphone in 2005. |

SE always stay pretty tight lipped over upcoming phones.

I want P1000 to have 3D game and sound cards, big screen, Wifi or 3G, bass speakers, speakerphone, MP3, atleast 2MP camera, flash or torch light, big memory, keyboard, full internet browser, word and spreadsheet software, decent organiser, bluetooth and design have to be slim, sliver colour and easy to handle. I love gadgets. If P1000 comes out and has all the features I mentioned above, I will buy it doesnt matter how much it costs. |
