Got someone a really working HID file for PowerDVD?
I got PowerDVD v6 and I tried to make the HID file but, for some reason, it doesn't work properly!
I can't change the volume with the "+" and "-" key... :\

Mine is working fine, I did it using the latest software created by oneman. Browse in this topic and download the latest update created by him.

This is what I have created for my PowerDVD. Working fine in PowerDVD6.

Hate to bring back an old thread, but has anyone made a Media Center HID profile? I've been snooping around, but haven't been able to find one. Also, if someone is savvy about Media Center, does anyone know how I could use an HID profile to turn up and lower volume?

Hi again!

Bumping this thread to let newcommers know about this software. It works with the new SE-phones as well as the older ones. I have made a few improvements since last time.

I also have a new page with exampels, ie readymade profiles. If you have a good profile that you think would be useful and you'd like to share it you can email it to me and I'll place it on the site. Remember to write who I should give credit to.

How does this program compare with the official "Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Remote Control" HID creator available here:

http://developer.sonyericsson[....]obal/docstools/misc/p_misc.jsp

Any advantages?

Well, I was first...
I don't know, but I suspect that you can't capture system commands like Ctrl-Alt-Del with SEs program. You can always install my program and try it out. There's no installation needed (except .NET-framework if you don't already have it) and it's small (126kB). No spy- or adware.

You just send it to the phone and it will recognize the filetype and put it in the right place. At least that's how it works on my K700i.

Since no one answered my question in separate thread I'l try to ask here:

Is there any hid file which can display playlist on my phone, this can be done using fMA and winamp scripts but it will be better doing this with hid files?

No. Hid-files is simply files containing description of what keys to send to the PC when a button has been pressed. It contains no logic whatsoever, and can not recieve any data from the computer.
