@gelfen, no I was meaning the individual 100m. He already has the 400m and 200m and no one has ever had the 400m, 200m and 100m olympic championships at the same time. Unfortunately he was 3rd last night after the american guy (I'm hopeless with names) and a South African
@Vlammetje, why nonesense? It would have been a fantastic achievement if he could have done it
still, he's only 21 so he has one or if he is lucky 2 more olympics in him
I personally can't wait for the athletics to get going tomorrow although I did watch the shot put from olympia last night which was an interesting venue

@mass: sorry, misunderstood.
however, i'm sure carrying the relay team would have been a nice and restful preparation. besides, the 100m isn't really his event.

wonder what I was thinking of...? yes of course pieter whathisface won that 100m
ah! I know, I was thinking back to the 200m final whích thorpe won and pieter van whatshisname was second and phelps (the american guy) was 3rd.
mind you, this morning your man pieter .... failed to qualify for even the semi finals of the 50m freestlye. perhaps he was too knackered!

I saw on TV another Greek team member has been disqualified for failing a drug test! Might as well ban the whole team!
