This forum, IMHO doesnt need quick reply. The feature i said would help but is also not needed, i have only had problems sometime when im typing a reply and i forget what the last person might have said etc. But i just reply with a quote to remind me then delete the quote after writing the reply.

I don't think anyone is saying that Esato 'needs' quick reply, but I suppose it would be nice; although I still think the buddy list is a more important concept.

I wonder why though. i use a few other forums which have a buddy list but I've never touched. What's the extra value?

We do not need quick reply. That would just mean more quick useless responses.
I would rather see the buddy list.

Invision power board plus two small hacks - that's all what u need, but i think maybe it will be a problem to laffen to replace phpbb mysql structure to ipb via wap - via web there were a script transferring phpbb base in ipb base.

The esato forums are so big and have so many hacks on it compared to the original phpBB forums that an upgrade to another forum software will be very hard to do. So therfor it is bether to build on it instead of making a whole new forum.
I like esato the way it is. I only miss some small hacks like buddylist and things like that.
BTW: This topic is not about wich forum software esato should use so i think this post is oftopic.
