Is it just me or does that Motorola look a bit like a T630?

If I'm honest, I would probably buy the Nokia, I am not exactly the most brand loyal person in the world, although phones will take some beating.

I've heard that the Nokia 6230 is full of bugs - looks like it may have been rushed out without being tested fully?

I wouldn't buy a nokia. Now if we were talking about an XDA2 or if the Treo600 had a better screen resolution (both of which I can't afford), I might consider ditching SE.

Man there are many traitors in here.
Fact is, that for a company to succeed they need a successful R&D department, which is funded by the sales of the product. If we all want better SE phones and seeing SE succeed we need to support that company.

@ residentevil

Most of us just realize that SE is not the "be all and end all" of mobiles. There are manufacturers out there who make devices which have features and advantage that SE does not have.

It not just about brand loyalty. Its also about value for money. I want the most features I need and want at the lowest possible cost.

I want an XDA2 because it has a very great set of features. I also want a Treo600 because there are a lot of applications available for it (despite mediocre screen resolution). But they both cost a hefty sum and I don't need the PDA functionality but if they came at the price of T610 I'd get them.

What I do need is a phone with some advanced features at a good price. And this I find in the T610. As long as SE can give me a phone that looks good, has some advanced features I need and want at a very reasonable price, I will continue to buy SE phones.

Can't wait for the S700!

I see no problem! At the end of the day, if it works, has the features you want, and is in your price range then go for it. Although i prefer SE handsets, i don't care about the brand (although most nokias need a face lift as they are ugly)

If it had everything that I wanted and the design suited me, I would buy it regardless of the brand. Now, back to reality, in the past few years, only SE has given me what I wanted, apart from the SPV. SPV is not an option here in Canada and thank God that SE is, because for the rest, nothing has changed my mind. No other manufacturer has given me what SE has.
