when i was 11 year old and used to swim i always had fears of Phantom's Devil haunting me as it could swim in waters too.. seen in some of his inimitable comics..

wow.. and speaking of tarzan comics..
i always used to buy tarzan 3D comics and use that fancy red paper spectacles and used to excercise my eyes till my parents used to spank me !!

no . i couldnt get hold of those comics. but used to get shockedn scared of seeing seminaked ladies with mighty swords during that time..

not really.. as i loved 'krull' n 'excalibur' during those days (ofcourse sneaking in with cousins without parents permission)...

@jadeparfait - You did mention about 'Krull'. Is that the one made into movies in the mid-80's. His main weapon is like a razor sharped-edge boomerang type thing ? |

@jojo. yup. its a razor sharped 4 pronged circular something with some red/green glowing light in the centre and it boomerangs to the person who threw by destructing everything in its path.
in madmax II a boy uses it alongside Mel Gibson to kill baddies..

Well, I guess the ultimate 'showdown' of them all is when the superheroes of the DC Comics go against the superheroes of the Marvel Comics !!! The 'ultimate' fight indeed . . .
