But the conclusion is that SE phones does a netupdate very often, thats why the signalbars fluctuate so much (more then a Nokia) do you agree with that?

NOBODY ever actually disagreed!!!!!!!!!!!
i thought all the activity in this thread meant it was about something interesting, and not an argument about a fact which has been known for ages (why does this keep coming up, i dunno...)
@Jim: wrt tower transmission in a bell curve (certainly more interesting than the rest of this thread - where's mixin and his TWAT post when you need him?) i would really love to see the radio transmitter that couldn't transmit omnidirectionally - i.e. in all directions at once. any radio wave source transmits signal in a spherical shape, with strength (intensity) decreasing proportional to 1/r^2. the only reason a bell shape may seem to manifest is because the signal is blocked by the structure of the tower. this affect would really only be limited to a relatively short radius immediately around the tower base or directly under it. so, unless vlam sits right under the ass of the tower she should get great reception on her phone.
hope that clears it up. if i'm mistaken i apologise and someone please correct me, but i'm trying to remember EM theory from my university days - which weren't all that short a time ago.

@gelfen
Don't worry, you are spot on. You would have to sit directly beneath the transmitter tower in order not to get a signal.

dana > my battery life never goes down evenly. sometimes it goes down from like 50% to 40% in like 2 mins... i think it might be something to do with the fact i watch videos on ym phone sometimes. But im not entirely sure. could you goto your expert and ask him about it?

It's wasted about four f*****g days of mine. I'm not proclaiming myself as an authority on SE phones or mobile phones in general, nor am I trying to claim any glory here but I was one of the first posters to answer this f*****g simple question in the first place!!! I've seen it through right from the start, and now I'm about ready to kill someone!
For god's sake moderators, lock this p*****g thread AND all of the others related to it NOW!!!! Pleeeeeeeeasssssse |

I think some people here need to get jobs, life, etc. ASAP. In case they are employed, I would like to have a word with their supervisors.
How long can this diarrhea go on?
@ sulfuriq: Is "walla" arabic for "voila"?
@ dana: How are we supposed to know you were a "she"? I mean... with that name and that location you might as well be Dana International, right? |
