Come on people, did anyone seriously think the CPW would give away the P900 free as easily as all that?

Ok, we've gone round and round in circles re this clawback, downgrading and everything else. But, let's say you do buy a p900 from CPW on Orange, have Orange branded the phone, by sticking horrible orange boxes all over it, like vodafone have a habit of doing ? |

@n.evil, yes Doctor Evil, they have branded the phone, also the reason we keep going round in circles over the cheap P900 deal is because some people limit themselves to what they think is reasonable, others keep pushing,
So even when a fantasicly cheap way of getting a phone is shown, a large number of people will NOT do it, they are held back by their conscience, this is why CPW in the LONG RUN won't be out of pocket, as most buyers will be paying;
The full price,
Some, MORE than the full price,
Others, LESS than the full price.
It's important to remember that the average customer wants an airtime contract that gives them some free minutes rather than just going for the cheapest tariff.

Just bought the P900 from CPW for £369 upgrade on O2. I decided to stay with O2 as I'm already paying a low monthly line rental and being their long/loyal customer, they give me free minutes and discounts all the time. Taking out another contract will be costly to me in the long run.
Anyway, at the moment handset can be bought for £550(sim free) and £369 upgrade on O2 and T mobile (UK). No price for vodaphone yet but i dont think it will be far off.
Off to play with my new toy..

Dr. Evil? What's that all about, do you for some reason think that I might be a sad lonely man who tries to reinvent himself by pretending to be his favourite film charcter of all time?
How do you know that i'm not the real frickin Dr. Evil?
Maybe you should cut me some frickin slack? |

@N.Evil,...I'm going to place you in an easily escapable situation involving an overly elaborate & exotic death...

@sheep demon
I presume your from Aberdeen? Anyway, your best bet would be to go back, call the woman an ugly demented cow, kick over a display stand and run out of the shop. Works for me everytime.
Oh wait, you don't want to annoy the staff? You want the phone for free ...

Hi all,
This discussion is getting great.
Just to let you all know I walked in to Phones4u on saturday and picked up a P900 for £250 on vodafone. My contract is only £30p/m and this includes 200mins any network any time, 100 free sms + 50 free mms and an extra £2 worth of data and mms (which ever uses it up first).
So if you can stretch to the £250 mark this I think this is a great deal. Just a note though, you can't get them off the shelf you have to ask for them and stock is always low.
