the "aye" bit originating from ali-G
dont think its the make of the ipod.

This is gonna rub some people up the wrong way..
I gotta say that although i love the design of the iPod, its not all that. It has no line in, no mic, the battery life is pretty poor (c'mon, the CLAIMED 8 hours is poor!!) and the sound is not as good as some of the other units out there.
I was looking at the iRiver H340 which is only a few millimetre thicker, but has far superior sound, better headphones (Sennheisers) better features, the ability to organise your folders and DOUBLE the battery life. Plus you dont have to throw it away after the battery finally dies.
Its a winner hands down.. But I still want an iPod..

Anyone seen sony's answer to the ipod the NW-HD1. It has a 20gig hard drive, holds 13,000 songs, and the battery lasts 30 hours.

It's what im looking at investing my hard earned cash into... just needs to be a bit cheaper
