I think we all here make clear that the MMS update for the T68 is gonna be available in few weeks...Why we talk about the same things again? |

What's the fuss around here? As far as I can see, none of your countries have launched MMS capability in their network. So what the h*ll do you need MMS for right now? Just wait and see. BTW all SP here in Sweden says it will come in the end of march or the beginning of April. Since it's the same hardware as T68i they should be able to have the same software.
Cool if for a while.... |

ok, I'm not particularly fussed about the MMS as i hardly know anyone with an MMS capable phone or a T68! What I am interested in is all the other stuff that comes with the upgrade, but.....
I called Sony last week, and asked about the upgrade for my phone. He told me the next update was definately a MMS one and i needed to ring back in 2 weeks to confirm the release before I arranged to send my phone off to them! He said the update will be available as soon as MMS becomes available in the UK (2 weeks according to him).
I'm gonna give it a few days over the 2 weeks before I call back.
I never even got chance to ask about MMS before he started talking about it!
I know everyone has had different answers about this, but the guy seemed pretty confident he was right...
...let hope so.
I dont think they will be able to cope with the amount od T68's arriving in their mailbox the day after the release!
thx

danielm - Norway (Telenor (TeleHore)) has had MMS up and going in the networks for a couple of weeks, and it is FREE until may 1!!
OMG, I really want the MMS upgrade, typical of TeleHore to make it free knowing that nobody has the MMS phones yet! |

I guess you havent followed this discussion at all?
I can tell for sure that most of all people here at esato dont care so much for the MMS part of the upgrade!! We want all the other goodies, such as pict. phonebook, more backgrounds, screensaver option etc. And this is whats all the "noice" is about. And that it feels a bit like has fooled us a litte by introducing T68i with all these new, and fun features!

Hi all,
I mailed Ericsson Contact Center yesterday asking when the new software(with the mms uppgrade) for the t68 will be released. Got an email now and they answered that the software will be released the end of March.

Eric's son is correct. SE have 2 options here in the U.K. They either upgrade the T68m to MMS free of charge as promised, or replace all T68m for T68i. What do you think will happen?
Unfortunatly we just have to wait, SE obviously think launching the T68i is a bigger priority than looking after the people who have T68m.

What I meant with "no shit" was that they didn't know what the upgrade will be with, what functions. The helpdesk doesn't get that kind of information before the relese of the software. |
