No mms upgrade! |

I went to a service center today to ask about the upgrade, and the answer I got wasn't all satisfying.
The clerk said that there's not going to be an mms upgrade for t68m.
He had just spoken to ericsson and asked when they were going to ship ut the upgrades.
The answer he got was that no upgrades will be avaliable.
The t68i will be released with mms and thats it.
It is possible though that the upgrade will be avaliable in the future. But it's not certain.

Well that's what he said to me.
He started out by saying that there would be no upgrade, then he told me about his chat with ericsson, and said that there is a possibility for an upgrade in the future, but not for sure.

I spoke today with SE support in Finland, and they told me that the MMS upgrade will be released in a few weeks... |

ye I think this news is bs since we have spoken to many SE reps and all said that there will be a mms upgrade, maybe this guy was drunk and trying to work or something since he doesn't know much.

Here in england, we have a 'Trades Descrition Act'. This that the goods sold have to be suitable for the task intended and as described. They said that the Ericsson T68 would be the first MMS compatable mobile phone. If SE don't carry out thius upgrade, they will be liable for court action I'm sure as they have breached the law!
They are a massive company and are aware that these laws exist, so don't worry they wouldn't let the consumer down like this, it's just a matter of time till they sort out this situation. |

Well we can't be sure about anything really.
We can only hope that it's not true.
He was'nt drunk, but he was doing his job.
So you got one right apaman.
This information was given by ericsson.
I bugged him about it for quite a while with questions, so he gave me the number they call when they wanna know things from ericsson. That was the number he called, and they told him that they wouldn't release the upgrade, maybe later, but not for sure.
I haven't called the number myself, but I prolly will tommorow.
And one other thing..
A friend of mine knows a guy who has all the latest (and oldest) ericsson phones at home. His mother works at ericsson as a software developer.
And he said yesterday the same thing that I heard from the servicecenter today.
And his mother works at software developing, as some sort of executive or something.
Two sources, same answer.

Ericsson withdrew their "promise" about t68 being the first phone with mms before the phone was released.
We can't sue them for anything what I know of. |

I don't want this to be true.
I don't wanna say that it's absolutely not coming, and claim my rights.
I'm telling you what I heard from a servicecenter today, with information from ericsson.
And that an employee at ericsson has said the same thing.
I don't like it, i don't wanna defend myself from all claiming this to be bs, cause I hope that it's not true.
But this is what I heard, and this is a forum, right?! =/ |
