@DexterMoser
Its a nice feature, butI am a bit worried about some bugs related with the Floating Touch. Watch these videos

Sony Xperia Sola : Touchscreen Problems
Remember that SP and Sola also have Floating Touch (Glove Mode)

Don't worry about quality, it's a pre-release firmware. When the phone will be released Sony will introduce super awesome firmware that will boost camera quality 3times, and will bring 4K video recording.
Is anyone still believing this crap?
Ok enough jokes, these sample pics are pretty bad, they seem worse than original Z1. |

file size suggest no improvement over jpeg compression, still too compressed. |

I'm not impressed at all by its indoor performance.
The conditions looked dull anyway but it doesn't look outstanding. Maybe just need more optimal conditions like testing in sunlight etc. I hope they get rid of the blurry corners this time

I'd like to see samples from a retail version, before concluding though. I personally think there won't be any difference with the Z1, after all it is the same camera in there.
The samples are at 20mp, so pixel peeping will definitely show some film grain, tried resizing them to 5mp and I'd say it isn't what I'd call bad, it's still a little too grainy for a 5mp pic, but still no color noise and the dynamic range is good, details on the clouds can be seen, unlike in other cameras that will most probably be just all white or the foreground would be too dark.

shouldn't be too far off from these, infact these are probably what the retail unit will be like. The firmware its running is already certified for Z1 and ZU, its probably the same firmware for all the Sony S800 based phones. |

Going off topic a bit now. Please someone post a really good night shot with auto and twilight setting at 8MP.
I shouldn't care too much since I got a proper camera but I still want to be able to take good shots quickly with my phone from time to time.
