Bono, the SGS has sold 14 mill copies and counting
Norwegian website: amobil.no, says the SGS II takes better daylight pictures then the Arc but the Arc is better on lowlight.

Really good phone... Not a big fan of touchwiz so have installed golauncer... which is better
Right then, now you have let the cat out of the bag... How do the two compare?
The Arc and SGII of course... |

How is the sreen resolution versus iPhone 4? Satisfactory, close, dramatically less?

Samsung has a 4.3" screen with resolution of 480x800
iPhone 4 has a 3.5" screen with resolution of 640x960
so the iphone 4 has a much higher resolution, but more importantly because of the screen size, a higher pixel density.
That said, the super amoled screen on the S II is superb and so from your categories I would choose "satisfactorily close" as it is bright and vibrant and doesn't dissapoint.
One issue I have found is that during calls, the earpiece highest volume is not particularly loud.

Managed to have a quick play with one of these in CPW today... Really liked it!!!
The handset is quite large in terms of height and width but the slimness makes up for it as it feels very comfy in the hand and no where near as big as I thought it would... Lovely display, I can see the appeal of a 4.3" screen... Performance wise it seemed silky smooth...

May I ask what the difference is with this keyboard? Isn't it like any other keyboard on a touchscreen phone so that you can switch between the alphanumeric?

Well, that was fast.
1.5
This phone should hold its own for a few years well.
