@lilalf

What are the languages you have in your T68? Mine contains English, Bhs. Malaysia and Bah. Indonesia...

I've been to Smartnet as I have said the past notes...they were unable to make an update to my T68...I dont know why?, some sort of different SW daw...

I've been to Semicon Main the other day and have the upgrade from R1B to R2B, about 2 hours. They charge me P550.00 for the upgrade coz they treated it as expired warranty (I bought it in Greenhills eh!), no settings are change and everythings works fine...

I dont care how far and how much would I pay as long as my the upgrade is fine, no time and effort is wasted, the P550.00 labor fee will be good for 3 months and any other SW upgrades for that period will be free...

Maybe Smartnet has figure out the problem about my scenario why they were unable to update my SW and your a lucky one to have their good services!!!

I have English, Tagalog, this weird script, and Tieng Viet. I didn't have tagalog before so this really gets coolness points.

Oh, and about font consisitency, I don't have it. Just that the names in the phonebook are spread apart wider now. But whether I use medium (my selected option) or small or large, the phonebook still looks the same.

rhenzhen

here's the story..

gray t68 updated at semicon.. language turns out eng, bahasa indonesia... my complain of "wont fully charge" wasnt fixed. but LCD becames clearer.

gold t68 updated at smartnet, language turns out eng, taga, thai, viet. LCD was not updated (malabo pa rin, as originally bought)

gray t68 was diagnosed and replaced to a new one at smartnet... bec semicon wasnt able to fix it... new gray t68 sw was R2B, LCD was clearer too..

accdg to serviceman of smartnet.. if incompatible sw, once the plug is place at the buttom of t68, the screen will display "software incompatible" so maybe u shld try both, w/c can update it.

btw, semicon update... 1 day!
smartnet... 30mins+

I also bought a indonesia warranty T68 in HK and the Hong Kong Ericsson CS said that they won't upgrade it for me as it is not the chinese version. I'm also getting this upgrade problem and don't know what I can do.

@lilalf, i'd go for font consistency than having tagalog language option, which you can only use in menus and not in T9. of course to each his own.

Font consistency? Does that mean that updates provided by Smartnet have this font problem? Its good that I made my upgrade in Semicon! Works for me....

I've been chatting with nelsongs and his R2B (SmartNet) has font size inconsistency. To see what we mean:

Set the font size to small. Go to your phone book. Is the list small as well? If not, that's the inconsistency we are talking about. Try it with large font, if the phone book list is still medium, then you have the cosmetic bug.

Hi Frendz!
R2B is already available in Singapore, asked my friend to bring my phone down along with his to Ericsson SC to have our phone upgraded(mine is R2A).

The last time I went, the staff told me the R2B is already available, I did not upgrade on that day because I need to leave my phone and get it the next day kase nga magsasara na sila(I can't sleep without my T68 with me ).

So I decided I do it some other time. When my friend reached Ericsson SC he called and told that R2B is not yet avail. when I call ESC they said I R2B is avail but they said R2B IS NOT THAT STABLE, how can they release an unstable SW version?
I can't believe it!!!

How true is this Arnoldc. Thanks!
