Hi everyone I got my brand spanking new like for like K850 today. Thought it might be a refurbished one, but it certainly does not look like it. Its the blue k850i with R1FA035 firmware on it. I also got a spare battery as I had to keep the one I sent from my old one. got a new one this phone, it came along with a 2GIG mem card, which is nice, even though i got a 4gig one, it also came with these goodies too: Oh and its generic s.e software
Must say. I am really impressed with s.e and its restored my faith in the company. All credit to the team manager who sorted things out for me. Lets just hope this phone lasts well and only a little trouble some free (cuz as u know, i will expect a reboot sometime soon on this phone) lol.

Ha just shows I should have phoned se and demanded to speak to a manager. Wish I still had my K850 now, although I'd get them to send me a different phone |

Excellent news Mr Miyagi, very pleased that you had a nice outcome to your problem.
I guess as yours is a new phone you had to put all your settings back in, when I got mine back from o2 there where 9 txt messages on the handset all of which must have been when they where testing the phone as they where all in 3 minute intervals, dated midnight, Jan 2000 onwards.
@rookwise, i have the bt disconnection problem on every call over 10 mins, thought it was just me, lol, seems mine now likes to keep the connection but lose sound to the headset and only way to get it back is to hang up and re dial |

Thanks Larry and Rookwise. All i need now from s.e is a letter from them saying they have given me this mobile phone, as it just came on its own with the little extra's. Its just so that If i need to make a claim on my mobile phone insurance then I have a letter from s.e showing proof of ownership, so that can be accepted by my bank mobile insurance company. they said that can be 3-5 working days so see what happens. But overall am glad too all is sorted, and by the way the generic version of firmware on this, is really good, i believe the phone is a bit faster than before. |

Yup but not from o2 and certainly not O2 locked or branded.
Can get a quicksilver black K850 on Orange P&G for £137.01 or a sim free/unbranded version for £189.99.
Could get a blue W595 for £164.99 sim free as well
