The above link is perfect if you also want to read some info. If you are very impatient, you can also go directly to download or convert to shop.cellphonesoft.com, or support the great My-Symbian forum by purchasing in their shop.

By the way, arvinlad. You seem to like what File Associate provides. Also, in another thread you hinted at the satisfying number of available apps for UIQ3. You could win a free complimentary registration for FA by helping CPS to improve FA's services the following way:
- Determine what alternative true viewers exist for concrete data types.
- Determine what are the applications that look like viewers for certain data types but they are not.
If you are interested, best is to submit your summarized findings to the CPS support Email address. Don't hurry, good work takes time!

The new 1.10 version is expected to work on all SE UIQ3 phones. Please report if any problem is found.

I successfully installed 1.10
it works, thanks
Bug description
Right after installation (and phone restart), I assigned TXT to Generic Viewer.
When I tried to open a text file from native file manager (click) or from X-Plore ("Open by system"), for short moment I saw the application title shows "Generic viewer". But then it changed to "File associate" application, with list of media types (main screen of "file associate")
After that I exited "File associate" and clicked the TXT file again - generic viewer started ok.
After that I launched File associate again, and and clicked the TXT file again - this time generic viewer started ok not switching to File associate.
A question:
Is it possible to unbind the type from system default app, not assiging to any installed app? so that phone would always offer to "Save as", not trying to open it? It's damn inconvenient to IR-send text files in ZIPs just to prevent opening them with Office app. And it seems there's no way to "Save as" an attachment if phone has associated app.
( I use Java midlet to read text files, so it can't be set as associated viewer)

You need to map file types to dedicated viewers, not just to any app. Walkman app only uses its own playlist. You need the Walkman viewer, a different program on W950/60.
