and 31 months later still got no damn help. so much for america the great cant even take care of their own too busy with their illegal/immoral wars and wasting billions to commit mass murder. so I left to where people are more civilised and have honour. To think when was younger I stupidly believed the lies and wasted my life and health as an army officer.. I live with nightmares of what saw and did. all for nothing |

As for you say christians not helping well YOUR WRONG. Thing is here your going off what one or two instances. Every religion has its bad people and its bad points muslims have evil bad sick in the head nutters just as do the christian faith. How many nutters out there in muslim faith have said they care nothing for non believers. Generally both religions have very good treatment of people and of helping. My church in my area where i was bought up has mostly Irish catholics over the years where my mother took me. Now times are changing in that church now i have seen black white and asian people in there. Now tell me thats not welcoming anyone. The UK is mostly christian country but welcomes everyone from every background. The people i know from our parish are so friendly to everyone. And as for the gay sex comments well im not gay but what you say about god and his thoughts on gay sex and men. Should it not be upto the individual to decide what they wish to do with their bodies. ITS A FREE WORLD IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT PEOPLE DO GET OFF IT. As long as they are not hurting anyone they can do as they please. Im so sick of hearing people go on about what they think is right and if other people dont do as they do they are wrong. Go away. |

Im not a big fan of Bush but there is one or two things about America people forget. They are always constantly stepping in trying to sort out other peoples mess in the world. Muslims fighting muslims and other stupid wars. They dont go in to kill innocent people they go in to rid places of evil dictators. America helps other countries with billions of aid. Look at so many other corrupt countries in this world thinking they can force their ways on us. Saying the west should live the way they do. The war in Iraq not exactly a roaring success and it was not well planned but they got rid of a dictator and people there do enjoy some freedoms they never had before. Many many years ago America never wanted to get involved in any wars but they were provoked in Pearl Harbour by Japan in 2nd world war. So stop going on about how perfect the east is and that the muslim world is always so superior to everyone else cos frankly i am sick of hearing it. Why is it the west has to sort out everyones mess. |

The West does not have to sort out every ones mess, in fact they would have less mess to sort out if they hadnt supplied the weapons for the "stupid wars" in the first place, and they may not go in to kill innocent people, however they seem to have a habbit of killing more of them than actual combatants. So please dont defend their actions. |

See, this thread is exactly why I keep my head out of both religion and politics.
Despite the fact they're both there to make life better for us, I find they make it more argumentative, so I just live my life the way I'd like to, with my own decisions

If the West return the oil to Iraq, I will get a tatoo of the USA flag. After the 9/11 tragedy, Afganistan was invaded but Bin Laden is not there so why are US troops still there? Oil is the answer. Saddam who I agree is evil was hanged some time ago so why are the US still there? Oil is the answer. The US gives weapons to these countries, like Iraq during the Gulf War.
The US funds Isreal, is it right that Isreal can put up a wall and take land illegally? Isreal stops food and resources going into Gaza. They even shut of the electricity when they feel like it. Don't say the US is helping because they are not. I agree the the rulers of the Muslim land are corrupt and evil but don't be fooled by these gestures during disasters. Many African countries are crippled by American debts, how is it that someone starve in this day and age? If Tesco does not sell all of its freshly baked bread on the same day, the throw all of it away.
Even my fantastic and wonderful American friends and colleguesknow all of this. The question they ask me is that why do the US and UK have nuclear weapons and how can they tell other countries not to develop them? Iran will be invaded for weapons like weapons of mass distruction in Iraq, followed by Syria etc.
If you were to lose someone in your family (God forbid) you would be devestated but how about your entire family and cousins and friends? Iraq, Afganistan and Palestine have no future. Kids are shot on their way to school. |

Excuse me if i'm being completely ignorant, i don't mean to be or want to offend people. You've got Christians and Catholics right? One worships the Virgin Mary the other Jesus, why the two different branches? There both on the same team right? I just don't get that, alot of religions are just so similar.

I think it is more that Christianity refers to anyone that worships God, Jesus, the Bible and all that, then there are several different branches of Christianity, which the Catholic church falls under, as well as Presbyterian, Anglican, and others.
I believe that's how it is anyway.

Thats fair enough, but I am still waiting on an intellectual answer to my question from anyone in the know. Il summarise it again hopefully someone will answer it this time.
If homosexuality and in this I refer to gay men, was meant to be natural why is it that:
A) Gay men are at higher risk of rectum cancer
B)If it was natural to use the anal passage for sexual intercourse, why is it then that the anal muscles react so badly in causing haemorrhoids, and flatulence.
C)Gay men are at higher risk of HIV and STI's
D)If the anal passage was meant for sexual intercourse then surely it would not also be used for excreting the mostly deadly toxins out of our body. I am sure many gay men can tell you stories of yeast infections and the like.
Once again not bashing but trying to find the rationale.
