@Daedalus85
Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me (in particular Daedalus85 with your inside O2 knowledge) why the Nokia N82 is no longer available/listed on the O2 website?
Its currently only showing N95, N95 8GB & N81

They've been taking alot off their website, that and the Armarni are two good examples.
Honestly, I don't know why. We figured they'd taken the Armarni off cause it's a piece of shit lol, but the N82, I dunno, maybe it's not selling as well as hoped due to the release of the N95 8GB. General concensus in store seems to be from customers thats they want the N95 8GB because it's cool and their friends all told them to get it (ffs!) whereas I try and show them the N82 and explain it's superior features and they jut say it's far far too big or it's got tiny buttons. I then point out the N95 range isn't exactly small and they ignore me :/
Customers are dip shits I swear lol

getting back to topic of these new data plans... how can I check how much of my new "unlimited" 200mb I have used this month? do o2 have some sort of usage meter somewhere?

theres no way of knowing how much of your 500mb youve used (not on payngo anyway) unless you call customer service. dosnt show up on your ballances. any reason why it dosnt daddyluss? and when they guna remove that ridiculous 10min cut off limit

1) Mock the name and expect nothing.
2) The 'unlimited' packages on pay monthly (provided you're on a tariff from 1st Feb onwards, if not, you can change to one) are just that, unlimited, provided you're using the handset to browse and not using it as a modem for your PC. Pay as you go, as far as I'm aware, doesn't have unlimited browsing? It's just the £1 per day cap, I can't remember them mentioning unlimited 'net on pay as you go.
3) It's just you with the problem. It seems not a single sole in the world, any phone or O2 service, has it, but you. So please for all our sakes, leave O2 and stop dragging the name through the mud with these claims that mysteriously seem to only be affecting you

yeah, there's been a discussion on going about this at 3g forum and I was just reading the link from there to TheRegister when you posted...
its true, however, that you can just call o2 and ask to be put onto the full speed 3g. I did that and they did it without question

@masseur
I'm not a business customer on O2, do you think it's still worth asking them? Can't help thinking they will not know what I am talking about!
Do you use O2 Active APN or O2 mobile web APN settings? |

.....are O2 having a REALLY bad week?
Firstly i notice (as a lot other people on various forums have) the N82 has been misteriously withdrawn?
Next it finally becomes fact that O2 limit their 3G service to 128kb/s (which i think is downright criminal).....and now this!
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/04/09/o2_accidental_call/
Now i had as good as made my mind up to join O2 with N82 in may when my orange contract expires but in the light of all these issues and if they don't get it sorted before may (especially the slow data speed. What's the point in owning a HSDPA capable phone when your network won't support it??) then O2 will have definately lost my custom
I am in shock
