I think the best thing that one can do as an individual is to ignore the ads because nobody forces one to click on them. If they are annoying as you put it, I find it being the best thing to pm laffen or any of the mods. Really I also dont think a thread was that much neccessary for this. No offence to the author of the thread.

but it has been interesting reading ppl's views on these ads in relation to esato.
i for one really appreciate esato's clean and clear presentation... the colour palette has been restricted... and that has been applied to the google sponsored ads too. for me it adds to the pleasure of being here... not being bombarded with bright glarey ads. 
btw, haven't seen offending "win an audi" ad in a few days now... they must have used up this month's budget already!

Once again what wories me the most is that I have not seen any advert for this forum in any of the sites that I have been browsing. Are you that much not interested in increasing the popularity of Esato Mr Laffen?
