Does Laffen have any control over what ads appear at the bottom on the main forum page, I for one don't expect to find a scam at the bottom of the page...

see this picture....

funny how I've selected to win a car every time I visit Esato today...

hmmmmm...

Click it and it signs you up for all sorts of spam....

not impressed to say the least...

I do, Apple Safari with pop up blocking enabled, works fine on every other site, but the ads here are written into the code...

Yes, I'd be intrigued to know where these ads have come from, and if Laffen/Tranquil et al. have any control over what ads appear.

Those ones stating that I've apparently 'won' an Audi A3 do concern me a bit as they're probably spam or spyware or something.

Yeah i won that car as well
We dont carry ads on M-R forum, good job considering the amount of time we spend offline.

I think laffen can control esato's ads to an extent. However I think that we would all have enough common sense to not fall victim to the add.

Remember If it sounds to good to be true it probably is !

Sh*t, here's an idea! We could always keep our big mouths shut and let all of those casual surfers click on the adverts thus giving laffen a bit of money to help keep Esato running, as is the point of google ads!

do all the ads come via google? it looks like that to me in which case laffen can block specific ads... but its a pretty boring job!
