I opened a 370 mb avi (prison break episode) picture was ok, then as soon as you do anything (like full screen or forward) the sound dissapears and never comes back. I tried sevral other smaller videos, the same happened. also tried audio files (.mp3, .wav) exactly the same, as soon as u touch the app the sound dissapears and never comes back althou the time counter in the case of the audio) shows it as still playing. This is on a P1i R6E30. Anyone with a P1 got the sound right? |

they guys at core player know that bug and are working on that (I hope so, as we all payed for this software!)

I think this is brave to publish a beta with a pretty high price to pay and ask the users to come on board and help to fix it. How do you estimate the level of readiness of this app? 80percent? 50percent?

I just think the same about that! I do not pay that much for a player I can't use! This is REALLY a BETA software for UIQ3. Actually WE should be payed to find the bugs and report them, not the other way arround!
And PLEASE digitally sign the Software to handle the Backlight issue!!!

they charge u for it so that no one can take thier player crack it and distribute it for free thus negating all thier hardwork that they have putinto it.

Well, it might stall a warezed version a bit but don't worry... it'll get out there.
I personally don't want to spend 25 bucks for something I can't try a bit first. I bought dreamconnect, swiss manager pro and aqua calendar because they are nice apps and after giving them a try I knew they are also nice for me...
Ah well, perhaps if the reviews are good enough I'll give it a shot but for now I hear it's really a beta and that would annoy me too much after having paid for it  |

I purchased beta 1 of core player for my P1i and had major problems with sound (see earlier post), I opened a ticket for this and recieved a responce today theat the issue has been resolved in beta 2. The problem is that I cannot download beta 2 without having to pay again. Can anyone help? |

I still haven't bought it yet but looking through their help and support it seems you should be able to:
1 - Goto the Core Account @ http://portal.coreforge.org
2 - Goto 'Sales' tab > select 'Purchases'
3 - Click your purchase 'Order number'
4 - On the right side you will see 'Download URL', click this to download the latest version.

thanks, got beta2, sound actually works now. playing a 1.4 gig xvid and is ok, slight jitter in the begining. Speaker volume much louder than se music player. |
