On the W850i I second that! Listening to MP3s here in the library as I type.
If you have UMTS 2100 band available to you then by all means. I love this phone, like the dude said before (too lazy to go back and look at the name). Autofocus is a big minus. But at least it has a led light. Which I love by the way.
Pictures are fine, but at night sketchy.
I also found the navi-pad to be fine, you do get a minor hairline crack on the bottom button, but barely noticable. Great phone. |

The choice is simple - K800. The walkman series (W850 part thereof) is primarily aimed @ kids like yourself. The K800 would fit "the Dad" profile very well, and it takes good pictures. Go get it man!

i would go for the K800i as i did a year ago and the phone was brilliant!!!
imaging is superiorly handled by a perfect camera and music is handled with a walkman 1.4 mediaplayer.
i think the K800 is the ideal phone for this price range.
i had:
K750
W800
K800
W950
P990
and among them the K800 was a true pleasure!! though you can do a lot of things on phones like W950 and P990 witch i'm using now.
that was my own experience. the final decision is yours. |

i have been hearing alot of reports and reading alot of negativity about the k800i joystick. so far i'm looking at both the w850i and k800i prices online and just seeing what is cheapest but i havn't seen much complaints or problems from people with the w850i
With proper use and avoiding it to be exposed to dust by putting it inside a phone leather case or whatever is it when not in use will maintain your joystick stable but if you're willing to take the risk of disassembling your handset, you can clean it whenever it comes unresponsive
K800 can do what W850 can in it's main selling point(to play quality music) but the latter cannot perform as good as what the former is good at(taking sharp pictures at any situation/weather). so my advice is very clear - go for K800 |
