R6A is the current version... it allows the zoom and other effects found on the mca-25

I have just been to carphonewarehouse today and update my fw to R6A0012 - now my MCA-25 cam is working in fully order including zoom and effects ... and much faster than before ... great

my problem is how do u find out the software version of ur phone? what to press to get it???
