a little note
in the latest firmware for T300, R1D011, the master reset has been changed so the games are not deleted when doing the master reset... |

Both of the phones are v.similar, and I presume that all of you know a lot about both of them, so will know if the phone suffers from the same problem as the T300

Yeap ,
after the reset the games are gone and they still take up aboup 150kb of the memory which really really sucks. The good thing is that you can cheat the bug and delete pictures before loading them.
IF ANYONE COME WITH IDEA HOW TO GET THE GAMS BACK WITHOUT ADDITIONAL MEMORY PLEASE SHERE.
I read about the new firmware :R1D011 but how cen I get it??? |

In the meantime check : http://www.mobiledia.com

Cytech,
Do your pre-installed MMS templates come back as well after a master reset with the latest firmware? What is your reported memory usage as well as free memory just after a master reset without viewing ANY pictures or MMS templates?
Please post these information as I want to make sure that when I send my phone back for an upgrade and get the latest firmware I'll get something extra out of it on top of the 3 games coming back.
georgi_martev,
If you're on T-mobile you'll need to have T-mobile internet to be able to use the POP3 e-mail on your phone. T-zones setting will not work for it. If you;re on another provider I can't really tell you how to get it fixed. If you're on T-mobile look for the Email on T-mobile thread in the Americas sectin for more info.....

I have same problem ((
Do you think that is the same problem with another mobile phone or it is only the SE specialty...? I hope that it will be a new firmware to repair all these problems. |

10x GTakacs yeap I'm on T-mobile so these settings doesn't work I have to enter wap address in the t-zones and after that check the e-mail. In the meantime let me know how long it takes to get the phone upgraded and who you contact so I can sent mine too and get my gems back cause they take my memory anyway.

i've actually written to SE about this and gotten the reponse that they are aware of the problem but as of yet do NOT know what is the cause of it. So pretty much they know as much as we do |

@GTakacs
haven't had the chance to try it (even though the T300 has been out for awhile here in Sweden there aren't many brought back for service)... but my guess is that the MMS messages doesn't come back after a master reset....

Cytech,
If the MMS templates don't come back after a master reset, then it is a problem since they also take up 111K already in memory, so they better be available along with the games after a master reset. Just keep us informed if someone brings one in for repair, I'd really love to know.
It totally sucks that here in the US being a huge country and all we only have ONE service center in Minnesota so it's not like I can just walk into one and get my phone flashed and if I don't like it get it flashed back to the previous one. Kind of sucks. I'm heading over to Hungary this Christmas I hope a service center there might be able to hook me up with a firmware upgrade.
georgi_martev,
You will need to get T-mobile internet on your phone. It is different from T-zones! And once you get that set up (Your best bet is the $5 smartphone package that includes both T-zones and T-mobile internet, 1MB each) Then in your Phones Messages->E-mail->Options create a mail account and set up so it uses T-mobile Internet setting for connection, not the T-zone connection. There are 3 preset data connections on your phone, T-zone T-mobile internet and T-mobile internet backup. You need to use T-mobile internet to used the built in POP3 client of the phone. I hope that helps. If you have more issues regarding this, please respond in the Americas->e-mail on T-mobile thread as this is getting off-topic and the memory issue is serious so it'd be good to keep it clean here!
wapman,
I am glad that at least you've gotten a different answer than I did, hopefully they're on it and will fix it soon. In the meantime I'll just live with the 150K less memory, I wasn't playing those games anyway, I like connect 5 and ice digger much better .

Ok, there are two kind of connections set up on the phone. WAP configurations and Data configurations. Each WAP configuration uses a data configuration. MMS setup uses a selected WAP configuration. But E-mail uses data configuration.
So you will have 1 WAP configuration called T-zones and it will use the data configuration called T-zones
Then you will have a total of 3 data configurations T-zones T-mobile internet and T-mobile backup.
In the E-mail you can choose from the Data configurations not from the wap configurations so you should be able to see T-zones internet as being available there. I hope that helps.
The WAP configurations are stored at:
Menu->T-zones->8. Options->2. WAP Profiles
Here you will have one and one only, called T-zones and it will be greyed out so no changes can be made to it.
The Data configurations are at:
Menu->Connect->3. Data comm.->1. Data accouns
Here you will have 3 options, T-zones T-mobile internet and T-mobiel backup
Again, please post next time in the Americas->E-mail on T-mobile......
