FO is simply the best! It looks really nice without the bulky keepad...

The negative point is when the keepad is gone, the screen gets more sensitive when it comes to scratches, fingermarks and all kind of dust from my pocket.... Have someone found a nice screenprotector thatīs suits the p990 wonderful screen?

@adhussein , yes I hate using the stylus too, let's see what will happen

I will be flying to London soon, can I buy those screen protectors from the Tottenham Court Road, which one do you think is the best, do they in any manner darken the backlight ?

@doublecheese,

Sorry, i dont use screen protectors

Whenever i've sold my old devices i only manage to get a very slight premium if at all, even if i've kept them in mint condition, so i've come to the conclusion that i'll just use the devices and whatever wear tear happens, happens.

P.S. my bad selling skills are partly to blame

I'd be surprised if you find anything in Tot Crt Road. I still think ebay is the best bet to be honest.

Screen isn't dimmed much, if at all...and I've set my brightness to 18%.

I've tried 2 Martin Fields with both P990's and 1 brando ultra clear with the P910. All purchased from ebay and I have to say I rate the Martin Fields more because it's easier to apply it with no bubbles.

My personal experience anyway... but I bet they are made at the same factory. lol

@mykkk

Thanks for the feed back, too bad for the tot. court road

I'm so stranger to ebay . Well I used ebay like 3 years ago for the first time. (which was my last) I bought something for US $30 . The same night my bank called me and they told me that , they think that my credit card may have been duplicated so they told me they'll cancel my current credit card and send me a new one with different numbers.

Since then I didn't use Ebay , I know alot of people are having problem free transactions but I'm still afraid.

you read my thoughts lol i removed the flip friday, and used it like that till monday - yes, it does look better and less bulky, but you just canīt beat the usefullness of the flip, the phone becomes handicaped without it IMHO

so i put it again and iīm happy

Well I've been using the P990 with the flip on for the past two months, but I just removed the flip and plan to try it for about a week to see how it goes. I really like the functionality of the flip because sometimes it is quite inconvenient to use the stylus. If you could do most things in FO without the stylus, I think I would keep it off. It feels much slimmer and lighter.

By the way, is there any way to go "Back" in Opera or "Reply" to a message without using the stylus? Thanks.

I think it looks much better without the flip. But the problem for me is that I use the flipp pretty much and I really appreciate it. So I prefer to have a not that good looking, but more user friendly cellphone instead of a good looking, but not as user friendly cellphone

So guys using flip on...do you use the qwerty keyboard that much? Or do you just use the keypad. Only because with the flip it makes it much harder to type with the flip open....espcially trying to press the space bar...
