Like I said before, your chosing to ignore the carphonewarehouse link.
ONE UK online store phone sale ranking = Worldwide ranking of phone sales
Well, Einstein will turn in his grave. And it wont be difficult to find some US or Asia online stores sales ranking where there are not even one SE phones in the ranking. Same goes with the cnetasia.com ranking.
I think you are the one who is trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

@mib1800.
Get real!
Posting figures from the Quarter before last is DEFINITELY trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes.
I posted info which - according to the industy - is a reliable indicator, so unless you can come up with anything to indicate otherwise you're talking through your ass.

I think setting up a company to survey which phone is the best selling each month in this planet can be a good business

Nice idea =P i'm sure MIB would pay to get that piece of info only to find himself proved wrong =D but then again as someone has said before the most widely sold phones aren't those with great camera's and great sound quality etc. it's those that have the basic functions, are reliable and are cheap. Basically low end Nokias and Motorolas such as the Motorola V3, Nokia 6101, 6220 etc. |

I would generally agree, but not in all markets.
I would say there was a greater demand for well - equipped mid range phones in the mature markets.

@mib
You manage to turn every thread that you post in, into a SE vs. Nokia thread.
Would it please you more if this was renamed,"K800 highest selling mid-high range phone"? What's the point of discussing the 6101 or the 6230 if the only reason why they're popular is because they're cheap? This list provided is to see which mid-high end phones are selling best. From the information that you and goldenface have provided, it can be easily seen that SE is the preffered choice for phones in the mid-high end of the market. How is that manipulating the facts?

I think this is not very reliadble data, but it is good to know that k750 users are upgrafing to k800 (k750 used to be on the top) |

I think we just argue on this without any IDC or iSUPPLI or Gartner survey result is useless.....
can anyone spend a few thousand dollars to get one.
in those report, you might be able to know not only which company sell the most...maybe they know which specific model as well.
the current method could be thru krunsell, asia.cnet.com, expansys.com, maybe carwarehouse.com etc....
But to me, this thread now didn't feel like nokia vs se...it is just arguement of which research data can provide accurate info how one product is performing in sales volume.
Meantime, I might have to change my mind on this...giving some thought...I notice Asian buy a phone as a status thing. One can get a 600cc car, stay in one of those low cost housing area but they will always make sure they have levi's (branded stuff in Asia) or guess! attire with the latest mobile phone hanging around their neck.
tht's what I see all the time on Asia city I visited.
Europe and Asia seem to be having user tht prefer a phone tht is good in function and suits to their needs, then it will satisfy them. Tht's why Blackberry is hot in US/ Europe but not popular in many asia country.
anyway we all have our view...so go back refer back to the top 10 chart of your local area on which mobile phone is the hottest lor
for me as usual...asia.cnet.com |

I would agree that the V3 Razor is the more popular phone purely based on the fact it is on every network, in most country's and is on a lot of pay as you go plans so lot's of kids have them and it's been out for ages, over 2 years I think.
But, in current sales like today for example then the K800I is the best selling phone without doubt. Just look at all the offers on it already, and it costs more to buy then the M600I sim free. If you walk around you see lots of people with the phone because it looks nice, has 3G, has a very good camera and a 2 year old child could use it unlike the V3 where you need a degree in user interfaces to use it.
Plus it's being advertised absolutely everywhere and so if it becomes a fashion phone like the V3 then it may well take over from that with ease. |

I really wouldn't mind seeing the K800 as popular as the V3. For one, if the K800 was a popular as the V3 we'd get tonnes of apps/java programs for it. Also if some of those people who wrote FW for the V3 and other motorola phones move onto SE, then it would be great! |
