GPRS here is good. Iam satisfied with the speed.

According to my operators e-mail. "approximately 36 Kbps (downloading)". But it is good enough for me.

"User friendly tariff @ Rs. 15/- per MB is designed on the basis of volume of the data uploaded/ downloaded gives extra benefit over the time oriented tariffs."

i am charged 40 paise per MB on my DataOne broadband connection for my pc.
and the speed is 256kbps.

Umm....I get close to that when I use my phone as a gprs modem for my laptop.....consistent download speeds of 24-26 KBps...thats 200kbps as good as broadband ......at 1/4th the monthly cost
p.s....thats when i use an edge enabled device....with non-edge enabled devices..i have experienced download speeds averaging 40-48kbps/ 5-6 KBps

I use my w800 to prove that SE had got an edge over other manufacturers. Hmmmmm, u must be wondering "WTF?" In the last few months i have converted 12 nokia users to SE. Not bad!!! But joystick has screwed all that up.
But seriously---Walkman, Camera, sms and for the sake of holding something in my hand (even when sleeping, lol, i'm serious!!!). |
