Best deals are always online, they have more scope to barter. |

1000 txt a month

Has anybody managed to get more than 1000 txt out of O2?
Orange are offering 400x network and 1750txt a month for £30

I am an online customer. You need to get tru to the retentions dept.
Tell them you have seen a better deal elsewhere ( quote the nationally advertised Orange Dolphin package - 400 mins and 1750 txt for 30 quid) and you are wondering what they could do for you.
If you are already a customer they will give you a loyalty discount of between 10 and 15quid straight away off any tarrif. Trick is to sound convincing that you are seriously going to cancell your contract, even ask for your PAC code if nessesary then just keep at them till you get a good deal.
Good Luck guys! |

yeah the retentions is the same as the cancellations dept. Sent you a PM with the number of them.
They should give you a k800 for free no problem, they did for me. :-] |

Trigg, is there any chance you could send me the retention department number? I'm ordering a K800i tomorrow and could do with some help.
Much appreciated... |

I take my hat off to you guys-I have no idea how you are getting the amazing deals you have mentioned in this thread. Every year I dread talking to the upgrade ogres because it is always such an uphill struggle to get even the same tarrif I am on now (vanilla CPW O2 200, no extras, £30) plus a new handset for free. And here you lot are paying less and getting more!
Threatening to leave never seems to make any difference in my case, they just make me another desultory offer that doesn't meet my needs and then give me a PAC or let me end the contract. I have always been told that it is cheaper to get a new number with a new phone than upgrading. I have never been rewarded for my loyalty to a network, not once.
I am very happy for the lot of you but miserable for myself. Like many of the earlier posters, I was told that there was no chance of even discussing upgrading until the next batch of K800's comes in. If I wanted one sooner, I was going to have to pay for a crappy new contract that wasn't offering what I wanted. The sticking point is that I want to keep the number I have and don't really want to switch networks.
Any ideas? Sorry for the ramble! |

Hey Trigg, can you send me the number for the Orange retention department as well??
I have a K750I at the mo on a £30 a month contract for 200mins and 500 text's and I hardly ever text!!!
I REALLY want a K800I for free and my contract ends in August, I want the plans your all getting, for me I want 300 X network anytime mins and 100 texts and a 8mb data pack for no more then £25 a month and a free K800I so pretty please can I have the number to tell them what I demand!! Or I'll get it on line.
Another question is, I see a lot of half price deals online where you have to send your bill in for a redemption, does this work or is it all a scam with dodgy company's?
I want a K800I as I recently went on holiday and I used my K750I cam more then my Canon Ixus!! It's much easier to take your phone out every where rather then a dedicated camera, especially to the beach.
