Are you?

Isnt the main thing that the majority is happy with what they buy? .. there will always be whiners, and people who just have to say the opposite thing.

Im just sick and tired of people who claim that Nokia is worthless, when they even havnt tryed the actual product. this seems a little odd to me.

Hey guys, back OT!

@anas: You aren't very precise when you say:
alarm is bad
calendar is worse
and ir is useless
What do you mean with "ir useless" ?

@all: Before complaining about T68i speed go and get the latest SW (R5D007). It's rocking fast in comparison with the R2E, especially in menues. The T9 is not in class with Nokia yet but improved.

For a month ago I was waiting for 7210 too but now it fulfills no need...and I don't have to sell my HBH-20. Bluetooth is sooo great, I love it!

Mm..I've got my Nokia 7210 on this saturday, and it's great.. The loadspeaker is just great, very good sound:) I know this is a SE forum, but I'm going to ask.. Does anyone know about a site where I can download background pictures and Polefonic ring-tones to my 7210?

The SMS and menu speed on 7210 is PERFECT! And the display is very good:)

But, I still got my SE t68i..

Best Regards,
Audun

confirmed that Nokia sell alot more phones than any othe brands .. and i dont think the reason to that is because they suck!!?

No. Their phones suck and they're not big because of that, but in spite of that.

their phones dont suck...cos you dont need a brain to use one.

You might be right. That would account for their popularity among the rabble.

But as such (phones), my opinion is that they suck.

Ofcourse the lesser educated crowd vastly outnumbers the opposite; hence el-crapo-phones with inspiring xpress-on-covers reach a much wider audience. I'm not saying it's not a good business strategy.

your all going back into that SonyEricsson football team supporters mode...there are different phones for different people and no brand is better than any other.

read previous posts by users before replying as you may end up arguing with 'an arse' which just makes you look like one as well.

the most important aspect is the phone satisfies your personal needs not that some arse on a forum said its the best.

The best, really? I don't agree... P800 isn't even in the shops yet!
T68i is a bit old compared to other manufacturers new releases (e.g. only 256 colors, no Java). And yes those "other manufacturer" phones have they shortcoming as well, but to say that SE has the best at the moment is a bit shortsighted.

I agree that each phone has to be judged for its capacity to be useful for each user.
Everyone has his or her own priorities, and noone can tell another person the phone sucks...
My opinion is that Nokia sells because they are known, and they are simple to use. I also think Nokia has been inspired by Microsoft...
Nokia tries to avoid using standards, to prevent people from comparing easily, and keep their phones different.
Why do they use Bluetooth so little?
I wouldn't be surprised if they came out with something similar but on their own...
Don't forget that Nokia has a really interesting strategy... No games or backgrounds can be exchanged through IR or , why?

I try to answer with another question. Admit you are working at Vodafone... Which phone would you like customers to have? A net dependent one, as Nokia, or a net independent one as ...
All the content for Nokia phones has to pass through operators or Nokia themselves... Eh eh eh

The choice seems pretty obvious... That is the reason why Nokia sells more, they know how to please carriers.
The future?
IF, but only IF, is integrated in Sony much more than today, phones will start selling more as soon as people want them to do more than call and send sms...
But that will eventually only come with 3G. Although something is moving since Nokia put camera swap-on, taking the idea from

Ok, these are just my thoughts...
