@absin
I didn't add my entry. If you think it's biased then you can edit it; remember that anyone can edit the Wiki. If you see something on the Wiki that you think is innaccurate, biased or in need of change then you can change it. As I said earlier though, I don't think we should add our own entries to the members section, or edit them.
I'm not here to control the Wiki or to decide on what gets edited, anyone can contribute. Ideally the Wiki will have lots of different members adding their knowledge and contributions.
Edit: Please remember that the most important thing when editing the Wiki is to make sure that the information is both accurate and objective. Supporting evidence should be given where appropriate and available.

IMHO, and as I have suggested to INCLUDE Scot's "On the Couch . . . " was mainly because it MIRRORS 'almost' the majority (race) of members Esato has, including it's MODERATORS! Now, with the Members Of Note issue at - WIKIPEDIA, I 'think' the names of:
1. Bejerkabanen
2. Pachy
3. Scotsboyuk
should be EXCLUDED ! The rest should - REMAIN !
Now, if the "On The Couch With Scotsboyuk" Thread cannot be UPLOADED in it's ENTIRETY (a LINK will definitely DO), Scot's name . . . will remain!

@jojo
Why should those three members be excluded from the 'Members of Note' section?

I can only SEE members who are really eligible to be posted or someone have contributed GREATLY at Esato ! On your part, I can say that your "On The Couch . . . " Thread really is a masterpiece mate ! Now with the other TWO, I don't see their great importance to Esato (IMHO) ! It's better to PUT the name of Vlammetje (for her themes etc.) than these ones. I cannot EDIT the site as I have great respects for members who have ALREADY contributed so much there, just an observation here. On the part of Axxxr, YES he had surely made a GREAT effort about his news that's why he was catapulted to Esato's News Editor Status! Just don't include his THREADS that's anti-Bush Just my side here - Scots! Cheers orange!

Contribution to Esato is a somewhat subjective topic since one person may deem one contribution more important than another. Equally I should point out that inclusion of members need not be for any contribution they have made to Esato, but there should be some reason why they are being mentioned e.g. status, an important event they were involved in, etc. For instance, pachy's inclusion was made because he was a famous member of bygone days who was involved in sparring with BengalBoy and who was also a member of the Original Garbage Crew.

@jn
i disagree, all members that have an air about them should be mentioned.
things theyve done, who they are, what theyve achieved, crazes they start, helpful info they have or whatever.

jojo, say what you like... I think we need to bounce about a lot of ideas and opinions if we want the best wiki inclusion.

Yes I don't think it is necessarily a good thing for the Wiki to be the work of just one or two people. It would be good if we could get input from a number of different people who each have something different to add.

Indeed, scots. I think we all, however well intentioned we may be, have a very subjective experiene of esato (and, as we're part of it, how else can it be?) and therefore the widest participation is probably a good way of ensuring the most balanced entry.
Perhaps people who have something to contribute but aren't so good at writing can post rough copy here and perhaps a poster more used to such things can 'tidy up' for them?

That's not a bad idea at all actually, whomever does the 'tidying' could post it to make sure the original author approves.

Well I think that is an accurate description of the site.
It made me giggle to see the garbage threads mentioned
