I was just browsing Wikipedia and came across an article for bluejacking.
The article does mention that It was here on esato that bluejacking was born... but there's no article about "Esato Forums" itself..on wiki.
With over 80000 members, Esato is a premier community for lovers and i think there's no reason why an article on Esato shouldn't be there.
We, members can contribute and create an article on wiki, can't we?
Anybody with me on this?
I have seen a thread by scots in which he mentioned that wikipedia had linked to Esato and goldenface had put this idea forth..i wonder why it didn't stir much of an interest...

EDIT: Esato on wikipedia is now available!!
Here
Looking forward for user contributions!

I think esato generally needs more step-to-step guides of dimantling things, modding, unlocking etc with pics, would make it more organised and nice and easy for newbies and dumb asses a.k.a. me myself and I...

like se-nse it does need to grow though...

esato has had the same format for years, its only recently that mik's AZoTT has been made a sticky! even that seemed daring for the esato team...

some new fancy updates wud get esato back on track with more members

like se-nse hahaha.

well, instead of moaning guys, do some research! find some guides and post them up! there are plenty of people on esato that do modding that are on se-nse aswell so find them and ask them to make themselves known.

laffen cant do everything by himself can he? [addsig]

This sort of thing has been mentioned a couple of times now. I think creating an Esato Wiki would be a great idea, but we would need a few volunteers.

I don't mind contributing, but of course I don't know everything about Esato. Ideally such a project would get some input from laffen and the moderators.

@whiz

I think the first step would be to create a structure for the Wiki; decide what topics are to be covered. I would propose the following:

Introduction - brief description of Esato
Structure of Esato - information on how Esato is organised and run
History of Esato - Esato's history with notable events included
Who's Who - list of some of the more famous members of Esato and their contributions

This is only a guide, the Wiki doesn't have to include those topics or in that order. Please feel free to comment.

Thats a good format @scots...
Who is going to do the writing?
I can write...but i think there are others who could be better.

Also, i do not have much knowledge of Esato History since i'm a relatively newer guy.

I have created a basic Esato entry on Wikipedia, which you can see here. Hopefully people will add to it and expand it.
