I managed to update the flash drivers (but there were no yellow exclamation mark).

But when I start the program I just get the message saying that there is no flash stand connected.

When should I press the C-button and power button, have tried everything...

uukk-Is that firmware for the V600 or K600? Are you in the Uk or somewhere else? Also, did you get the firmware from the update service? Just curious........

My phone is K600i EU5.
No I upgraded by total*** and now SEUS report "you have the last firmware" before only "error, contact Service".

OK, I've just worked this out. I called Sony Ericsson today and asked about the update service. They said for it to work with the V600 (and I assume the K600 and K608) that one would need a desk stand. I went out and bought this and the update service has now worked for me, updating the software on my phone. Can't say that I'm too impressed with having to spend £39.99 on the stand, but at least it now works.

Well, the new firmware seems to be a marked improvement. Menu browsing on my V600i is now much faster and the ringtones are much louder. I'm still not sure if it was worth the £40 to buy the deskstand though...........

I have a V600i, but when I insert the power cable while holding down C, windows doesnt recognise it, then when I press the power button, windows recognises it- but then the phone switches on! I have been able to install the flash drivers, but SEUS still says 'no deskstand connected' :S

..to add, the davinci client v1.54 now lets you flash via the in-box mini USB cable!
