According to the last picture, I give the new slider a 1.8in screen, looks a little smaller than w350's screen !

not_me,
It's 1.8 or 1.9 inches. I wrote 1.9 inches on the blog.

My biggest worry is the reception quality on this phone. Fully covered in brushed metal surely doesn't look too good for the reception.

So it's brushed metal then? I still think it looks plastic. =P It looks even more plastic when it's beside the T650i |

OK, finally I could remember where I knew the keypad area from. Its design is similar to one of the low-endest on the market: The Z250i. I had this phone for a few days once. Kept me busy the whole day to make up my mind on this.
Notice the similarity:

So going by this naming structure, can we assume the name of the K850i successor will be the C912?
Also can we expect anything from SE next week before CeBit on March 4?

No, the C912 would be the C902 successor.

the price range of C902 is lower than K850i, so I'm assuming that a K850i successor will have an middle index more than 1 or 3, maybe 5 or 6, but this will limit future succesors too to 3 - 4 only or 2 - 3 years
that's IF succesors keeps using direct serial not jumping ( I mean the successor to C950i for example will be C960i, and then C970i to C980i and C990i )
I'm assuming that SE will choose to diff. between a successor and face-lift, I mean a C950i face lift will be C951i or C952i but the successor will be C960i then a new C961i as C960i face-lift, as what can I see here the last index keeps candybar in 0, 1 & 2 numbering, so there's a space for two other facelifts before we see a successor that changes the center index...
