Well R1DA038 was apparently worse in terms of battery life than R1CA037, so I'd hope this new firmware would be better than 038!
Absolutly YES, put the conditional verb away, the new firmware is far better than 038 |

@1889...hhhhmmmmmm.....are you kidding...its a cell phone...NOT EVEN N82 looks better when you zoom in like that....k850 have easily best details, (Nokia have more vivid colors, but NOT better details).
so STOP think that some cell phone will look perfect when you zoom in ten times (or something).
this "REAL" comparing pics show everything.
were they taken at the same time ???
wow man .. wht a difference..
this is y SE rocks.. quality dude... quality...
thnks for the photos... relly saves my day against Nokia Fans..

Sadly I don't see too much improvement in picture quality. So I think I can wait the next update.
@ plank
I agree with you in that thing that K850 can make detailed, and sharp pics, but in document mode. That's why the most of k850 owners aren't satisfied with the pictures. But to be quite frank I think it should take detailed and sharp pictures in auto mode, or twilight landscape, etc. I don't understand why is so different the image processing in other modes. I noticed also that if you increase the colour saturation in photo DJ the colours are looking quite realistic. Why SE don't improve the camera in the way that saharpness to be in all modes like in document mode, and colours to be a bit more saturated, and in this case nobody would complain about purple colours, and sharpness. (I have already taken pictures in dark when people's red eye became purple ) =)) ).
Please everybody, who made the update, post pictures in 100% crop with the R1EA031 version!!! |

The bug where the HBH-DS980 sometimes looses connection to the phone is still there in the new firmware. |

Mate, the people here try their best. There is absolutely no reason why someone would lie about something as insignificant as a firmware update on a phone. People say what they hear and sure SOME of it may not end up being true, but it is better than no info whatsoever, and parts WILL be true (and were). Nobody on Esato is an SE software developer, we only get our info from usually reliable sources. It is not likely that anyone here will know an accurate release date for software, we are not Sony Ericsson.
Honestly, go out on the internet and search anywhere else and you won't find a source as good as this for SE phones, and many other things. And don't come here making comments like that. You did absolutely nothing towards providing others with valuable info, so don't blame others for trying. Thats just downright rude.

Hi, guys, I'm new here.
Is there anyone in Poland who's already updated to 31? I've got an unbranded green K850 with generic 37 fw for central europe, and SEUS still says that the update is not available...
How come people from Hungary get the update and we here in Poland don't? |

I can confirm that the shutter bug is still there, at least in my phone, so it's logical to say that the new firmware doesn't have a fix for this, it almost sounds logical as it's more likely to be a mechanical problem that a software one. |

@TRUE AVALON
Go BYE some spelling lessons. Dont put down what people have heard. Without them making guesses or "predictions" as you call it, you wouldnt be visiting the site all the time getting all excited about the update. LOTS of your termed "predictions" are in the firmware so is it really all lies their getting from the Crystal Ball they BYED?
