Mizzle, showing this makes me suspect you are working for SE in Lund with A200 phones...some kind of consultant...The software you show is from week 2007 week 51...there are newer ones...But as you can se it is only R1 meaning it is in its begining...Wait until R3 or R4 before release. |

Nice movie GTommy...lol
By the way bambino...the g series processor is NOT the same...yes, clock speed is the same, but the processor itself, you go read the whitepaper, at least do it properly

Well it's anyone's guess what happened at the uiq meeting. Don't seem to have made the news anyway. As posted before, this is my take on what occurred.

To me it seems like this uiq meeting turns out to have been more of a meet and greet thing. See Mizzle's invitation: "Drop by between 1pm-3pm for lunch". It doesn't sound like any official declarations need to have taken place at all at that event!

Man...do you know the processor used on P1/P990 etc CANNOT handle more than 4 megapixel images??? Now...how many megapixels does the G900 process???
Also...the G900 is able to record QVGA videos at 30fps...the old UIQ3 phones are limited to 15fps. And then there is wifi b+g over wifi b...does all this ring a bell??? Its a new processor...

@ares: Heavy speculating...
Do us and yourself a favour and only submit info which is somewhat backed up by reliable sources.
Until the opposite is proofed the current specs of G900 clearly speak for the very same processor as in P1i. No one knows wether or not the P1's CPU is capable of WIFI g or a 5MB cam or 30fps QVGA recording.
cheers,
