If you get the 'Operation Failed' error, you will probably have to get your phone reflashed. Good to know the new firmwares out...can't wait until I get my K850 back.
Are you referring to my problem? Will try that but that didn't solve my problem when i was on the -37 firmware.
Can my problem be related to my memory card- that the memory card screw thing up. I've heard that that have been the case but that was with other issues. |

DAMN!! I still can't use any java apps or games! How can this be?
Any ideas?
Your problem could be solved only in a Service Centre where they will totally flash it with the firmware, not only update it. |

Here are some more pics, outside ALL AUTO
In general there's minor improvement but sometimes i still get blurred pics in broad daylight even when not moving the phone at all.

How long does it normally take for the firmware to become available over the air? I'm on a o2 UK phone... |

Your shots are not perfect Duran, but according to me, they're a step ahead in general quality. |

I've deliberately added some lesser shots.. But its not like i didnt hold the camera right, it's just the way the k850 deals with the shots

Your problem is DEFINITELY with the light sensor (the tiny little dot that is under the Xenon flash and to the left of the LED lamp).
I know this because in the last few weeks, my photos have all become over exposed with the flash and blurry.
Why did this happen?
The light sensor is thinking everything is too dark and firing the flash at maximum brightness. When you take a photo without the flash, it's taking a longer exposure because it still thinks it is low-light - and so you're suffering the blur associated with a lower shutter speed. It's playing havok with the various settings on the phone.
I have taken another K850i, which is brand new, and taken the same photo side by side and the new one (which is clean) takes the photo properly. I also updated to R2RA031 before doing so.
Now we know the camera isn't fantastic and the new firmware can't fix the shortcomings of the sensor, but you will improve the images if you can somehow clean the sensor.
And here lies the next problem; how do you clean it? I've tried a tissue on the end of a paperclip and that hasn't done a thing. I can clearly see a difference between my K850 and the new one, but can't figure out how to get something in there to remove the dirt.

I don't think so, If you look at Duran's Pictures the red color is still Pink.
Maybe we will need to wait for a Custom Cam Driver release.
