Something else. People again think the device from wh1000x 4 official video is the 1iv. The image gives impression of smaller bezels compared to 3.

I know that will never happen, but is it physically possible to apply acoustic surface on touchscreens like phones, tablets or laptops?
Is there any way I can hack the cam of my phone to unlock stuff sony does not allow like raw? |

I'm guessing that the surface would be too small for the screen to resonate on anything but larger TV screens.

AFAIR, there was a Sharp phone that had that technology where the surface acts as the speaker.
Honestly, Sharp as a manufacturer is underrated.  |

As I have said before, many people believe the phone from WF1000x iv official ad is 1iv. Back glass seems very shiny like Mark 2 purple. Bezels are too small for front camera, you do not see it, maybe 3mm bezel. Stop the video at 00:03. https://youtu.be/4HIwHAeuKAY

So, more devices to fill gaps. Would that be between Ace and 10 or between 10 and 5?
Considering Ace2 is doing well in Japan at the point Sharp had to unleash Aquos Wish to counter-attack, any chance to see next Ace overseas? If properly advertised, for its price it could do well in developing nations. I would just change the cpu to something like any 12nm Unisoc with octa A55.
Would be nice if Sony bumps 5 iv to QHD and make a "10 iv Plus" with 6,5".
** so, if mark 4 has 12-bit raw, it needs new ones because 766 is 10 only, since next oppo is capable of using 10 despite the marisilicon supports up to 20-bit. Also, looks like only 689/789 are 2x2 OCL. 🤔

I don't think 5 will ever go above 2K for resolution. They probably want to protect that flagship feature for 1. I agree there should be another phone below 5 priced at least $200 less than 5. I have no clue how that phone would look though, would it be as big as 1 or compact 5 or somewhere in between? The way I would do it is to make it as big as 1 but with mid tier specs. Three cameras would be slightly improved cameras from 10 but not flagship grade as 1/5. Esentially it would be like 10 Plus but with more flavor and tricks to justify $799 price.
I liked what they did with XA2 series. They had vanilla XA2 and XA2 Ultra. They within in six months they dropped XA2 Plus which was fantastic mid grade device, much better than both XA2 and XA2 Ultra. |
