I set mine to H and 3G icon still shows up
(i know I connected to a HSPDA network)
I even tried downloading somethings on the phone and it still shows up as 3G,
so the H icon must be network dependent.

No update for 02 UK ...
Very sad...
Networks should NEVER have the right to tamper with the FW or delay it .. or cancel it altogether... |

The new option for having the phone vibrate when you press the touch keys is a nice idea, it makes the phone seem more responsive to you.
Media player is wayyyyy better, I have a 4GB M2 and 1200 songs on it and after the initial "updating" at turn on,(which is still slow) it zooms through the songs now.
That was the biggest annoyance for me as I use my phone for music at lot, with the HBH-DS970 and a parrot MK6100 in my car. ( havent tried either yet)

AH RITE ok then!
So if u select HSDPA does that mean that it will search for all networks plus HSDPA |

It seems that W910 users are very happy with their new FW,faster media player, better camera, cleaner sound,no freezing...
Well I had rotate me in the N95 and beleive me, it's as fast as it can be
Maybe you had a faulty device or bad FW. |

Erm don't knwo the topology but something like that - it checks if you are in a HSPDA area and uses it if you are.

No the phone will only try to connect you to HSDPA network that your operator has.
O2 Ireland,has a GSM,EDGE,3G and HSDPA
Think phone is running a lot smoother and faster but its probably in me head cos I have been waiting so long for the Firmware

I just updated and I found the phone to feel faster also.
The marble madness game also felt faster.
Also the option to shake a little when touching a "touch screen"-button is great. |

Hang in there buddy, I'm sure that seeing your phone is unbranded, you'll be seeing the update within the next couple of days. Keep checking back!
