no idea what either of those programs are. Guess I'm a little out of touch with Aussie TV at the mo.

I was chatting with my wife at the weekend about our fav comedy shows. Who remembers The Comedy Company with kylie mole and uncle arthur etc? actually I bought the DVD set when I was back home last month. We always liked Hey Dad! too (with one of those Buchannen sisters - can't remember which one... Simone maybe?)

yeah of course. it went for 20 odd years. it was a religion for us to watch that on a saturday night

whats happened to Darryl Somers these days? I thought I saw him on some celebrity ballroom dancing show when I was back last month

yeah strictly ballroom or something....or was it dancing with the stars...i dunno but hes doing something like that.

i remember my family used to watch the comedy co. religiously every sunday night.

i also used to like frontline (another d-gen spin-off).

i didn't mind rove for the first couple of years on ten, but i think his humour has become very juvenile. god only knows how he keeps winning logies since his show doesn't rate that well, but then i suppose he's the only one who actually fits the category (the most popular personality) when he's up against actors.

I don't remember good news week but I was sad when I had to come to this contract because I did like Rove Live. He had some great guests and was quite a laugh and very entertaining so I missed not seeing that show
